Until Paragon Studios writes their own code, the Cryptic logo stays there, presumably as part of the leasing agreement.
NCSoft only owns the Intellectual Property.

It's a little more than "just leasing it". They have a license to the code but they also certainly have the rights to do their own upgrades and not give those upgrades to cryptic. Basically they licensed code then branched it.

Why does the cryptic logo still appear on the i16 login screen? I see they added Paragon Studios and NCSoft... but why keep Cryptic?
