Ice Epic isn't bad, you get an additional rain power and Frost breath for additional AoE damage.
But then again, I just like ice powers. So that's always where my vote will go.
Mine switched to Ice from Earth. He might switch back when power customization goes live and the Earth armor doesn't have to look so hideous.
I would say Stone Mastery.
Hurl Bolder is a decent ranged attack and KB, kind of like having a second Propel.
Fissure is Thunder Clap with some damage, 20 feet of range, and KB.
Seismic Smash is very good damage for a controller, and it contains a hold. Too bad it's a melee attack, I guess...
Rock Armor is a Defense toggle instead of a resistance toggle like those offered by other Controller epic pools. The -ToHit debuff from Hurrican makes defense more effective, so you get a of double layer of protection (That sounds wrong for some reason).
Earth's Embrace is a self-heal which raises your max HP by 50%.
Seems like this is a great match for Gravity/Storm.

One of the main weaknesses of the Storm secondary is no way to heal or recover endurance. Fire gives you endurance recovery, Primal has Conserve Power, Earth has a great heal. Only Ice's Hibernate lets you recover both health and endurance in an emergency. Plus you get to choose between the best single target blast of the APP blasts, a cone and an AoE, plus a defense based shield.
Add to that the fact that thematically, Ice fits in with Storm. The other APP sets are quite good, but I felt that Ice was the best choice.

I agree. I have an ice/ice/ice blaster, and the epics are quite good. Hoarfrost is a real lifesaver.
My Grav/Storm is using Hover, so I will be going with Ice. If you are on the ground, no reason not to go with Stone. Fissure + Seismic Smash is really punishing both on the extra control front as well as the added damage front.
I just recently got my grav/storm troller to 41, and am unsure of an epic power pool that would best compliment it? Any thoughts?
