Can't connect to some servers, why?!

...I don't know what else to do so, I'm posting here for help. I was playing happily on my server (virtue) and suddenly got mapserved and disconected three hours ago. From that moment I can't conect to virtue anymore, I can connect on other servers, not all them, but exactly half of them. On the others I keep receiving the error: Cannot conect to DBserver. (sometimes the error changes and says my password is wrong or I forgot to type it, but only after trying to enter the server, no on loggin)

What can I do? I need help!!

Could be lots of things. Since you say it's HALF of them, I speculate a problem on the internet preventing you from connecting to one of the server farms. Half the servers are on the east coast, half on the west. Go to this page on ParagonWiki and see if all the servers you couldn't connect to are at the same location.

What other servers are you unable to get to? If it is Virtue, Protector, Justice, Guardian and Champion then that means you aren't able to reach any of the West Coast servers. There is likely a routing issue somewhere between you and the West Coast server farms.

You could try to flush your DNS Cache to see if you can force it to find a viable route to the West Coast server connections by opening a command prompt (Run as Administrator in Vista or Windows 7) and type "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes then hit Enter.

If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Exactly, I cannot connect to the West Coast servers. But weird enough only CoH servers. I can conect to other game's West severs.

I use windows XP, I typed that and nothing happend, just a dos prompt opened and closed before I could even check on it.

Open the DOS prompt first by typing cmd and click OK.

Then, once you are at a command prompt, type it in.

Just because you can connect to other games west coast servers means nothing. You still can't connect to the CoH West Coast Servers. The issues are still somewhere between your computer and those servers.

At this point, you'd need to file support tickets with your ISP and with NCSoft.

Most likely neither of them would be able to do anything as it is most likely something between you and the CoH servers that is outside of the control of NCSoft or your ISP.

In the sticky about common solutions are the IP addresses of the servers. Download PingPlotter Freeware and plug those IPs in on a continuous 1 second repeating ping trace and you'll probably find the problem server in your communications path between yourself and the server.
