if you choose a elite boss in the options he wont be an elite boss until you have a team of 5 or more

so if i place an elite boss, he can still be easily solo-able?
They seem a little tougher than your typical boss but they can be solo'd by reasonably self-sufficient builds.
I think difficulty level 1 always spawns EB's as bosses too.
Elite Bosses scale down to bosses on Heroic. Otherwise, they are Elite Bosses.

Is it possible to scale down a boss? say i want to use an elite boss but only have him as a boss and thus not as difficult?
