Accidentally quitting group...
/leaveteam
I don't know how you could be doing that by accident.
I don't really want to ask, but are you sure you aren't just being kicked from the team?

Hello!
This keeps happening to me since I've come back to the game - I'll all of a sudden quit group without physically clicking on the QUIT option. Now, I see there's a host of new chat-oriented bugs so was wondering if this was one of them? And, if so, what exactly is the key combo so I can avoid it?

Type in the command line of chat: /bindsave. Then go to you CoH directory and open the file keybinds.txt in Notepad. Highlight it all (CTRL+A), copy it (CTRL+C), and then paste it here (CTRL+V) so we can see what your binds are.

Here you go, but I haven't made that many changes to default binds on this character and I think it has happened on another character as well .
Rather, I'm suspecting it's something to do with the new chat interface and me pressing a key combo to make it focus on the quit button. A similar thing happens to me when I have my friends window open: I'll all of a sudden get a window asking me the name I wish to /gfriend. Also, when soloing, I'll sometimes begin changing my lft message while in the middle of combat. It's really bugging me !

Well, you don't have /leaveteam bound anywhere. You do have this: CTRL+TAB "nop", which is normally bound to target closest. I just tested to see if that would tab one over to the quit team button, and it doesn't
It may be a case of a 'jumpy' mouse. But, I'm out of ideas.

One thing I noticed last night on Live. I have my Global Friends window open and I am doing stuff and chatting. If I leave the Global Friends window alone long enough, it switches to that other Global window which has the radio button at the very bottom of your chat screen (the one that has Server, Global, Global Ignore). Not sure why that happens.
Just happened again, and this time I *know* it wasn't a mouse click as I wasn't even using the mouse at that time =/
Are you playing from a laptop?
My Dell POS Craptop has an integrated keyboards with serious issues. It key circuits are very different from a desktop and certain key chords react differently from what you would expect.
If you're on a laptop, it's possible your keys are doing something weird that we wouldn't see in a diagnostic or bind file.
If you're not on a laptop, then after reading the thread, I'm outta ideas.
My new desktop keyboard has a similar quirk, but it's not as detrimental to gameplay.
S_R is probably correct. It's most likely a keyboard issue, which sucks for a laptop.
No, not a desktop... but I have a spare keyboard in the closet that I think I'll give a whirl =/
