Kitchen Help Please

I've built a little kitchen in an "apartment" one of my toons has inside the base, and I can't for the life of me combine stuff to look like a stove or a fridge...although I do have a pretty sweet cookbook rack, pics to be posted soon (tm). Can anyone help me out with some ideas for how to build appliances? Thanks in advance!

I have seen at least one stove, but I can't remember how it was done.

For refrigerators, I use the double white cabinets. Put one set above the other along a wall. If you want a refrigerator that is deeper (which I do in my bases) - place a cubicle there and stack a second set of cabinets out from the wall on top of the first set.

I have also seen a refrigerator made by stacking floor safes (turned around so the dials face the wall) with a single power cable (wall item) placed to be the handle.

I can show you a good stove in my base. It has burner rings and everything.

I used safes as the body of my stove then placed torches inside of them so the flames come out the top.

The base is made out of stone. I could douse the place with gasoline and it'd still be standing after the fire went out.

Thanks for the help! Now all i have to do is wait for my SGmates to all go to bed so I can work on the base without them asking a bajillion questions...lol.

Here's the one I did, plus the grill I have in my base kitchen:

Range

Grill

I hope that helps.

okay how did you build that Range? I like it and want to copy!

I'm guessing - build out a few white wall cabinets and embed the tech barrels in them to get the burners. The backsplash is just a wall vent.

Am I right?

The burners are the wastebaskets in the details menu.

Cap that's brilliant. I may have to use that in my own kitchens
