(I don't know that this is true, I haven't tried making a Spider in a while. If you want to see your face, I think you'll have to wait until level 10, but then in doing so, you lose the Spider Armor & just get to keep the leg backpack.)

I found the Wolf Mystic Helmet to be to be pretty cool and it's not as bad as the other helmet.
And yeah... The spider legs are way kewl.

Gotta wait for a second costume slot (unlocked at level 10) to make a "civilian" costume. So that's what, 10-15 minutes after making your character?

Mermy, just make a spider and grit it out until level 10 when you get a second costume slot you can make helmetless. If you choose crab powers you will have to have the legs on all of your costumes though.
Of course, you STILL have to wait til 24 to actually GET a "spider-thingie"... :P

So in my huge excitement of getting a villain to 50, I forgot about the unlockable AT thingies. So I was reminded today that I got to make one. I went to make one of those spider thingies, but I can't take the stupid helmet off! Is that right? They're ugly =/ I can pick the option for a face under the Wolf option, but neither Wolf nor Bane let me take the helmet off.
