Yes you can get Call Reinforcements on a Bane. In fact, it's highly recommended. I don't know if you're confused or not.

You know what would be awesome? If they changed it to Summon Executioner. You spawn a single boss level Bane Spider Executioner to aid you in battle.
Or maybe a troop of three or so bane spider minions -1 below you.
It would fit the concept better I think.

Call Reinforcements is worth it. Yes, the recharge is long but we now have Pet Recharge sets. They don't deal a lot of damage but they are good for taking hits and holding. My Bane survives much better with those two spiders are out. Bane/Crab have awesome Manuever that can benefit them and believe me, those 2 spiders need your team defense.
Crab's 3 littler spiders, however, is completely optional. I took it the first time and they are a lot weaker than Stalker's 3 epic spiders. Those 3 epic spiders used to have even more HP than the old Stalker HP! And those 3 can take -defense debuff sets. Crab's 3 can't.
What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

When I first saw he "Call Reinforcements" power I was sure I was going to get three Spider Soldier Minions to help out.
Imagine my surprise at "Spiderlings". I'm still holding out hope this may one day change. Keep on dreaming man...you never know. 
My level 50 Dominators:
Madame Mindbender 50 Mind/Energy
Fly Agaric 50 Plant/Thorn
Nate Nitro 50 Fire/Psi
After branching to Bane can you still get the call reinforcements power and call a pet? Am I confused? Is it worth getting call reinforcements? Thanks much.
