RWZ Challenge
I am guessing you hovered out of melee range. In a sense you lessened the experience of the RWZ challenge if I am correct. But at the same time, if the entire mob was engaged on you the whole time you were taking advantage of the MOB AI.
There is no rule you have to stand toe to toe with the entire mob but the purpose of the RWZ is a stress test of your character. If you were out of melee range because your melee defense is your weak point and you tactically compensated for it, I would say you good job.

Pretty much this. Of all of the ranged characters I've heard of completing the challenge, I don't think I've heard of a single one doing it in melee range without heavy controls. (Though I'm sure somebody has at some point.)
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
I'd call hover fair game.
And how common for defenders? I've never heard of it. Nicely done.
ok guys i will bite what is a RWZ Challenge i tried searching for it but my search foo is weak i could use a little help in what it is. i am always looking for a challenge on my Fenders

The RWZ Challenge is a Scrapper challenge that has gotten used by every AT out there because everyone wants to see how they stack against a Scrapper.
The challenge itself follows the no insps/no temps/no deaths rule (which you have to enforce yourself) with a couple additions. No outside help (otherwise it wouldn't be much of a challenge) is allowed, nor is dropping aggro at any time (re: every enemy in the group has to be attacking you at all times).
As to what the Challenge actually is... head to the RWZ, find a group with 3 level 54 bosses in it. Kill them all without dieing. That's it.
Hank, the RWZ challenge involves fighting a +4 spawn of rikti with at least 3 bosses. No Insps, accolades or Temp powers allowed.
Also, I got the video up, albeit in this one I had to pop a few blues due to a mistake with EM Pulse at the start of the fight.
Also, here is the video.

I also have part of my fight with a Pylon uploaded.

accolades

Gah. I always forget no click accolades. The passives are acceptable, if only because you can't turn them off.
So, AVs and GMs get boring, anyone else have anything interesting to Solo? Im considering trying to do the mothership alone (I would almost certainly fail, but I want to try soloing a +4 Magus). But I would at least need a team to rip apart the pylons.

You can't solo a pylon? Pansy.

Exactly how common is it for defenders? I never see it mentioned here.

You are about the third Defender I have heard of completing it successfully, with me being the first (see sig).
Nice job by the way.
Eh, I did it on my FF/dark/dark on my first attempt. It took me 30 minutes. This was prior to the toggle drop changes but I never thought it was all that big a deal. Much easier now that toggles don't drop.

I can solo a pylon, I have a video of myself doing just that with the other one. What I mean was if I dont want to spend three hours working down the pylons, I would need a team.

Well then you should have said that. :P

I've seen the amount of math you guys do over on this forum. You guys don't even get close to the stuff that we do on the Scrapper forums. :P No offense intended, it just doesn't really apply to Defenders, especially since the Defender forum is much more focused on tactics and build rather than actual numerical comparison of any substantial kind.

MEH I SAY, I has a scrapper to you know! shes a Fire/Dark ... shes all burnie and ... cloudie and burnie ...
Wait ... what were we talking about?
So, I finally got around to attempting the RWZ challenge with my Rad/Sonic defender (Native Faith, formerly known as Pristine before I decided I wanted the name elsewhere). First try was an utter failure, second I managed to finish in 9 minutes and some odd seconds.
I did make a video and will be posting a link in the next couple of days, I just need to get the file size down a bit.
Two quick questions though, I felt like I cheated by using hover ... thoughts on that? and second, Exactly how common is it for defenders? I never see it mentioned here.
Edit- So bad news, it appears as though the video clips is well over 2 gigs and has a thing for crashing any program that attempts to change that. So, I'll probably have to do it again to get a decent video for you folks.
