Guys -

It looks like I will be unable to run FNF for the next 3 weeks.

I just found out that I will be traveling on business at the end of this week. Then I will be on vacation the 2 weeks after that. I'll have my laptop and will sneak on CoH occasionally, but I can't commit to anything.

Feel free to keep FNF going in my absence. Ciao for now.

Now I don't feel as bad for missing this Friday.

Well then, since Knight is AFK due to work and vacation. I guess I will run these. I also am tied up for tonight, my friend (who introduced me to the game), is in town. He is in the military (Army) and we have had little time to get together and hang out like the good 'ole days.

So, Friday Night Flights (Backup Edition) will be running on Friday, July 31st at 10:00PM EST at the AE in Independence Port. I will also do my best to make "theme" nights, as Knight as has done in the past. I will review the AE missions and post the "theme" sometime next week.

I have to go pick up my brother-in-law at work, which is like almost an hour from my home.

I'm having issues getting in right now and it's storming like crazy here.

FNF is on for this Friday, August 7, 2009 at 10PM EST at the Independence Port AE building. Last week, I went through the six arcs that I thought best suited the theme I wanted to with, "Gods".

I played all six to see whether they would be good choices and I selected two of the six, and a third (and there are two choices, in case we finish the first two quickly).

These will be the arcs we will be running on Friday:

Ragnarok: Twilight Of The Gods
Arc# 8713
Very Long (4 missions)

A Forgotten Memory
Arc# 254164
Very Long (5 missions)

The two other arcs, in case we finish soon can be either:

Chains Of Asgard
Arc# 33394
Short (1 mission) - I think this arc is way too easy.

The Valkyrie and the Fury

Medium (2 missions) - This one, at least solo was too hard for my blaster.

So, there we have it. I will be bringing either my fire/kin/fire controller (Thermakinesis) or my dark/dark/dark defender (Quantum Gloom) to the party. I think my main will be taking a much needed break from playing time in the near future so that I can focus on bringing up some 50's to join him.

Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday. The following Friday, Knight should be back and returning to host these fun evenings.

Well, another FNF has come and gone. While the turnout was a little light, it was fun nonetheless. Early on it was myself on my fire/kin and Arbiter with two of his toons: Ophir and Arbiter Morrison. Finally, near the end, Pepsi came along with his tank, Idol (I can't remember the full name, sorry Pepsi).

We ran the following:

Very Long (4 missions)

The first mission ended up be an Lt. Farm, but after that, the rest of the missions were pretty good, albeit long. Ran into some high level snakes, and a bunch of EB's. Overall, the arc was good.

Well, glad everyone that was able to show up did and it was a good time.
Next Friday, Knight Chill should be back to run these FNF's.

Sorry I couldn't make it. I log'd in at 10:30, but then something came up, and it required me to log out and make a phone call. *sigh*

Got to go and help my friend set up his computer room. I would have done this on Saturday, but I have a family engagement with the in-laws on Saturday, which forced me to move the computer room setup to Friday instead.
