Just for curiosity's sake... have you tried any other servers?
I know, it's a silly question. But... have ya?
As of 8:32pm, June 9th, 2009, I was in, and at both Atlas and Atlas AE, there was 0 lag for me... Perhaps it's the internet's path between you and Freedom's servers. Hence the 'try another server' idea.
In the stickies there is a list of which servers are west coast vs east coast. Pick something that's on the other coast and see what you get.
If you get lag everywhere, you probably need to post up the CoH helper as well as a hijack this log.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm getting alot of lag lately on Virtue, to the point it's almost unplayable at times, tho those red spikes and blocks in netgraph are really pretty to watch while it's happening.
There has been more laggy behavior on Freedom and Virtue lately. I have a great rig and connection, it is server side. Also most the teams I've been on have shared similiar complaints. It's not a constant thing, it seems to spike sometimes. I just try to stay outa Cap Diable and Atlas at all cost. Those two zones are the worst do to AE farm over crowding.
Same issue on Liberty. Really terrible lag spikes that would just suddenly clear up. A few times over the weekend it was so bad, my toon couldn't move or use powers it was just constant rubberbanding. Exit the mission and everything is fine. Then lag starts in zones, then disappears in missions again. Really weird.
I've noticed more lag than normal myself, but in each case found Windows was downloading in the back ground or waiting to finish installing a patch after download was complete. It seems like there have been more frequent instances of this in the lasts couple of weeks.
No other problems noted. I have not been on Virtue or Freedom, though.

I experienced really bad rubberbanding on Liberty during the evening (PST) of June 7-8. It was so bad that at one point in a solo mish, I could not go up stairs in a 'Office' map. I would start at the bottom of the stairs go up and around a corner (about 70'-100' ft - ingame); then suddenly rubberband back to the bottom of the stairs. I kept repeating this hoping the lag would stop. After about 2-3 minutes and about 20 trys, I gave up on it and quit the game.
I logged back in yesterday (Tuesday 06/09) around the same time - same server - same toon. There was no problem finished the mish.
Looking for a really funny and very short mish (lvl 1-50): Look up "Stanley and the Fanatics" - let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy it.

Is there anything you devs can do to reduce the lag on Freedom? It's gotten so much worse in the past couple of weeks. It's not server load...the thing is green atm and it's still happening.
Not my ISP or computer either. It's one of the recent patches. I've been thinking they would fix it, but it still hasn't happened.
Also...lately if I get Loss Connection and get booted to the login server, it won't let me get back on unless I exit and run the patcher (and it doesn't even verify files). Gives me the same message we see when the servers are down. I got a pic of it if anyone wants to see.
