Invul/* As good as tanker?

So I've just been looking around lately for the best scrapper/tanker builds. I noticed that invulnerability is a strong defense. Does using invul on a scrapper take away any defense, that it might have when used on a tanker? And if there is no -def on scrappers, wouldn't using invul on a scrapper, kind of make the scrappers have High Defense, and High Damage? Any advice or opinions would be appreciated,

Thanks.

It doesnt work like that. Each AT in the game has AT modifiers. These change the values of the powers. Typically scrappers/stalkers/brutes get 75% of what tankers get.

Bump and Grind Bane/SoA
Kenja No Ishi Earth/Empathy Controller
Legendary Sannin Ninja/Pain Mastermind
Entoxicated Ninja/PSN Mastermind
Ninja Ryukenden Kat/WP Scrapper
Hellish Thoughts Fire/PSI Dominator

Thank You Devs for Merits!!!!

So in other words you're saying that invul used on a tanker is better than used on a scrapper?

Yes, but scrappers do much better damage in exchange for the lesser protection.

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

All Scrapper secondaries have 75% as much resistance and defense as a Tanker.

So a stock Invuln Tanker would have 70.2% s/l res, 31.2% exotic res, and 17.16% def with 1 target in Invincibility.

A stock Invuln Scrapper would have 52.65% s/l res, 23.4% exotic res, and 12.87% def with 1 target in Invincibility.

The difference is very substantial. You can IO a Scrapper to be very survivable, but a Tanker with an equal investment would make a Scrapper look squishy.

To the OP: You can cap X defense both as an Invul tank & scrapper at 45%. Tanks have an easier time of this, but it's doable by both ATs. The real difference to me is that tanks cap *resists* at 90% where scrappers cap at 75%. There's a world of difference bet. 90% S/L resists and 75% (as in you'll last 2.5 times longer as a tank). That and tanks have higher HPs to start w/to go w/the higher resist numbers.
