Best PVP Combo

Hi, I am new to CoH/CoV and I was wondering on some of the best combos for PVP? I am currently Rad/Storm and it seems lacking in soloing not really a lot of damage output. Any info would be great thanks

For pvp i would say for high damage output go with sonic primary(due to sonic attacks giving -resistance, and everyone currently has a global resistance effect in pvp now). From the sonic primary you will want to take Shriek, Scream, and Shout, and Amplify...you may also want to pick up Screech(ranged stun).(please note sonic does great damage, but does has the drawback of some rooting animations in attacks which will leave you vulnerable in pvp zones, now moreso then before due to dimished returns and movement suppression)

For secondary powersets i would take either /cold, /rad, or /therm for secondarys.(for the debuffing factor)

Btw rad primary can do some amazing damage its just a matter of how you slot the attacks.
I have a rad/therm, and rad/cold and both are capable of some brutal damage via proc use on fast charging attacks(neutrino bolt will be your bread and butter for massively fast damage...slot it with 3-4 damage proc i/o's and 2 nucleolus exposure sho's).

On my rad/cold and rad/therm corrs i use only 3 attacks and aim from the primary(no need for more)
Just take Neutrino Bolt, X-ray Beam, and Cosmic Burst, and Aim.(neutrino bolt is super fast recharging attack and fast activating, i usually lead off with aim-cosmic burst-neutrino bolt when i pvp, due to cosmic burst being a stunning ranged attack)

As conflict pointed out elec/therm is solid also, i just felt my post was getting too long winded so i didn't add more to it.

Nice thank you for the input. I also plan to be a healer for a group PVE/PVP which combo would be best for that. I made a Energy/Pain but i have not had a chance to play it yet. And please the more input the better. I spent almost 2 hours last night trying to find up to date info on current currp info.

Rad or Sonic/Pain or Rad or Sonic or Elec/Therm are solid choices for Arena and Zone PvP. Unlike Ultima I skip the first tier attack on both rad and sonic and use the epic pool attacks to fill in the gap. It makes for sub lvl 50 pvp to be a pain.

Elec is a different story. It does not have a tier 3 attack. Just more end drain and that's not bad. Just rough in open zone to get kills. When people get HEed then start to get sapped they normaly book it back to base to let the debuff go away.

rad/storm is awesome in anything that involves team pvp on live.

i have a fully purpled out rad/storm, the only thing that gives me any trouble are specific blasters (psi, sonic), and well built trollers with -def debuffs (which keep my dps down by having me have to retoggle hurricane too often).

I'm starting to love my dark/rad not much on DPS but more distruption/debuffer, I use torrent to toss people around then web nade them so they become stalker food. If I'm not been mez to death I throw in a little debuff to make it that much easier to finish them off. And just like 21st said sonic/psi blasters are also my kryptonite.

I have had a lot of success with sonic / thermal, Black Scorpion patron set, web grenade of course. All around great support in pvp, pop buildup, melt armor, and SR or DEF based AT's get thier guts stomped into the ground. Slot your fireshields with damage/ range hamis , it improves their resists as well as the range you can use them on allies. I am a big fan of heat exhaustion , I love it because its a debuff that sneaks up on you, most people never realize they have been hit by it until they have no END. Sonic I only took 3 attacks, the heavy hitter , the second power (I forget what they are called) , and the stun slotted up with a purple set (dirt cheap). very support oriented and your teammates will love you and your whole bag of tricks.
