Hot Feet and Damage Proc IOs

How does this end up working? Does the damage have a chance to proc on every tick of hot feet? What about on the containment damage? If you're playing a fire/kin, does the damage from proc IOs even make a drop in the bucket compared to what you'll be getting from FS? Can someone enlighten me?

Procs get a chance to trigger every ten seconds in a toggle.

For hot feet, does that mean there is a XX% chance, every 10 seconds, that the damage will proc on every mob in range? Or just on one?

Putting a single proc in hotfeet is OK, it will check every 10 seconds (pulse) and anything within that range will be rolled with a to-hit check.

Procs aren't affected by damage modifiers AFAIR, so for a fire/kin you want to max out the damage portion of the hotfeet power before slotting procs. You probably don't have a lot of room left after slotting for damage and end reduction since the power is so end heavy.

Excellent answer. It really isn't worth it until you have Hot Feet fully slotted for Damage and EndRdx, plus some Accuracy. If you can, it's nice to add some slow, too, to keep the foes in the area longer. As a Fire/Kin with Fulcrum Shift, you do a lot of damage -- do you really need the comparably small amount of additional damage from a proc when that slot could be used for something better?

You can max out Dam & End redux by frankenslotting w/ lvl 50s and still fit in 2 procs. Dam/End x 3 and 1 Acc/Dam/End w/o purples, Dam/End x2 (one purp) and 2 A/D/E if you have the inf. I like mixing up my damage types so I'd slot the Eradication proc for En damage for one of the 2 procs (2nd can be the Armaggedon proc, again, if you can afford it, otherwise go w/Scirocco's Lethal proc since you do smashing damage w/Imps and the like).

Leveling up, you'll need to 5-slot for Dam & End redux (3x D/E, 2x A/D/E) so you'll only have room for 1 proc. And no, procs are not affected by buffs, but debuffs (Son, Rad, etc) always kick in.

I'd rather put in a 5 set of Armageddon plus and end red IO. 60/90/75/90 acc/dam/end/rech, plus 4% end recovery, minor fire/cold resist, 15% acc, and 10% recharge globally and works under exemp. I believe that hotfeet ticks every second, versus a proc ticking every 10 seconds, so the bonus is minor at best, since a kinetic can bump up to the +300% damage cap fairly readily with containment and FS.

As far as slows go, I'm not a big fan of debuffs or slows, since slotting fire cages with a 5 set of gravitational anchor and a ragnorok proc immobilizes, as well as a good chance to hold and knockdown. Most mobs are defeated by the time a debuff proc or even a damage proc has a chance to go off from hotfeet.

As with most damage procs, you really have to judge where to slot them for best effect. The higher damage powers benefit less when compared to a low damage power for slotting. For example, Arctic Air is a good place to multi damage proc since it does no damage by itself, while hotfeet isn't as good since it does damage innately and slotting it up for the damage is usually better (or acc and recharge as well).
