Original concern: Maestro is a canon villain in the Striga Isle story arcs. I'd suggest adding a qualitative adjective between The and Maestro, or at least have an alternative prepared IN CASE someone reports it and the GMs generic you. (not saying it's gonna happen, just saying you should consider it and be ready. ounce of prevention and all that)
That said, let's get to answers:

Controller: Mind/Sonic/Psionic
3. Male: Tuxedo-style blazer jacket in black/white, with a bright red/blue/gold/coloured cravat, tuxedo pants (with stripe to match the cravat) and baron boots. Basic High collar cloak in black exterior, and the interior to match cravat / tuxedo pant stripe.
Female: butler wedding tux if you have it w/ deluxe tuxsleeves, if not, a tank top or similar top that exposes the skin at chest-to-neck but covers the stomach. (still use the tank top w/ the butler tux) make it a dark colour to compliment the black/white... burgandy, dark gold, hunter green, navy blue, etc. metal links belt in silver or gold + a brighter version of the colour (blood red, brighter gold, summer green, blue), tights, pattern bikini to match the tank top, and white leggings to match tux, or the lighter color if no tux. high heel boots (or witch or thigh high or whatever in the darker colour) arcane high collar cloak, basic style in back, black w/ bright colour inside.

It sounds like the classic set-up for a Mind/Whatever You Want controller, to me. For a costume, I'd use something nice, like a dark vest over a white shirt, but not too formal. Throw on a bandana, and a pair of shades, or something.
Yeah I'd go with whatever combination of Defender or Controller Mind/Sonic Powers seemed to feel right to you. Either Mind or Sonic can be portrayed as hypnosis of the crowd or simply stimulating the audible pleasure centers so they like whatever you play.
Since you're a musician (and regarding the Villain name mentioned above) I'd also try some sort of qualifier in the name relating to music. Your name should immediately conjure up mental images of music and orchestra instead of ballet.

Hello all,
I hope i am posting this in the right area, if not, my apologies. I was able to to get what I thought was a really great name for a new character today, but would like some input as to what class and powers he/she should have. The name I was able to reserve was "The Maestro", which is the Italian word for "teacher". Most often associated with classic opera or theater. I'm thinking of a storyline that would have a rather untalented piano player who takes the world by storm packing in theaters and opera houses worldwide, only one day to find that it wasn't his talent at all, but meta powers that "convinced" the audience members to applaud (you know, think Kevin Federline with a tux) He/She would later go on to take up the role of hero and assume the name "The Maestro" as a nod to his former days. If anyone could please I could use help with the following.
(1) Class (I'm thinking originally controller)
(2) Primary/Secondary (Maybe Illusion or Mind + secondary?...or maybe there's a better primary someone could tell me?)
(3) Costume ideas. I have Magic and Valkyrie packs and am two months away from trench coat.
