looking for some help on a costume

Valentine's day sandals.
Granted, you can't get them without it being Valentine's day, but you should be able to unlock them in the MA to use/look at.
Probably look to Mercury/Hermes for inspiration.
yeah I have everything unlocked through the MA and I tried the "Greek" costume set including the hellenic sandals. While it looked more Cimeroran, it looked destintictivly less Synpase.
I mean if you look and Imperious and Statesman, it's fairly obvious they're meant to be different versions of the same character. Same thing for Pyshce and Solaris and Daedelus and Positron. I got a preety good Cimeroran comparison to Manticore but Synapse.... I donno. The more Cimeroran I make it look, the less it looks like Synapse.
Synapse will be hard to reproduce due to how the red and blue blends for his look. The Cimerorans tend to use solid looks for their counterparts so I'd try and follow that pattern, find some way of using red blue and grey while using the Cim armor parts, possibly use the Spring Event Hellenic Sandals like everyone has suggested.
I'll try and take a crack at it when I get home tonite.

hmmm, a thought that just occured to me. Maybe I'm going about this the wrong way. When I made the cimeroran Manticore (Goes by the name Orion) I knew he was going to be a solder so I put him in armor.
With Synapse (Or rather Marathon) I was figuring he'd be messenger and a runner so I was trying to avoid using armor on him at all.
hmmm damn it I wish there was an stand alone costume editor!!!!
Come on Paragon Studio! You gave us the ability to download our costumes, how about an external editor?
Ok here's my ideas on it.

I personally would go with 1, as it's closest to Synapse I think. I chose to have him with armor as even though he is a runner/messenger, he is still a super-powered one, so I figured he'd think to be armed and protected. The helmet I think hits as a good replacement for Synapses full covered head. Nothing really fitting for goggles. I chose to have crest on it, but you possibly remove it for a more rounded look.
For 2 I switched the the base color to the grey metal in case you though to have his base armor that same color but with the different red and blue highlights.
For 3 I made the armored pieces all red and grey, to match kind of a pattern that Imperious and Daedulus use in that their armor pieces are always two toned.
And 4 I just reversed the red and grey.
Again I like 1 first off as it's closest to Synapse I'd think as the grey are highlights and the blue and reds are him main colors, but even 2 serves well with a bit more grey, as it makes the base all one color, which makes sense as well.
Hope this helps in sparking some ideas.

If I had access to the costume editor, I would give it a shot for ya. However I do not.
When I look at the suggestion images, I keep getting jarred by the inclusion of that particular shade of blue. Obviously, the blue is significant to Synapse, but it does not at all lend itself to ancient Rome. I think I will have to take a look at Airlia, Daedelus, Imperious, et al. to get a better idea of how they evoke such a clear image of a character without breaking the ties to Rome.
Perhaps I will post an idea here once I get back from work.

Hmm of the four I like 1 the best, but some how it just doesn't appear to be Synapse. It's nothing I can put my finger on, it just.... well it just isn't. Okay I need to stop now before I sound like a back sci-fi/zen script.
It does give me any idea though. Go right back to the originals: Imperious/Statesman, Daedelus/Positron and Solaris/Psyche and do a case by case comparison. Try and isolate certain traits common to each modern/roman pairingand then see A) if I got it right with my Orion Toon(Cimerorian version of Manticore) and B) See if I do the same thing with creating a Marathon toon.
.... Ya know, I've got a sneaky susspision that by the time I finished this story arc, I will have have cimerorian versions of the Phalanx, Back alley Brawler, Blue Steel, The Vindicators, and Recluses' Lts. Why do I do this to myself?
Oh right, because I'm Torroes Prime and I'm genetically incapable of ever doing anything small, simple or easy.

no hurry. I've been pulling my hair working on the story for over a month now. Probably be another 2 months till I finish the actual arc and it'll probably be another month after that that I finish this commercial for it.
I'll toss my hat in the ring with a rendition of Marathon
Took a lot of inspiration from the previous costumes as far as the coloring and color patterns, but they seemed a little too bulky for a swift and speedy messenger guy, so I slimmed it down some for a sleeker look.

Okay, I'll keep this simple. I need some help crafting a Cimeroran version of synapse. This is what I've come up with so far:

I can't really say I feel any of the three designs I've posted as being the Cimeroran version of Synapse. Any suggestions?
