A word of warning, so you don't get to the tailor and get disappointed. Both wings and capes are 'back options' and you can't use them until you do the cape mission which becomes available at level 20. (An exception is in place for capes from a PURCHASED booster pack, like the Valkyrie/Mac pack.)

Wings don't count as capes. I have them on lowbie characters that can't wear capes yet. And I mean ordinary drop-recipe wings like the insect wings, nothing special.

Yeah it makes sense. I really like the look of the wings. i looked at all the wings on the wiki site someone listed here and am saving up for tech wings. I've got 2 parts of it now i have to save up for the expensive part and the actually costume pattern. it will certainly take a while, but it will be well worth it ^-^
oh, I upgraded to full account so i can use the Auction house (er wellingtons right? xD )

Welcome aboard! The Auction House takes a little getting used to. There is a Market section here in the forums. One of the stickied threads at the top has a list of guides. Mine is called "Wentworth's 101". It's a bit old now, but I still think it's worth reading. You can increase the rate at which you earn influence pretty dramatically if you make good use of the market.

Wings are available from level 1, it's only regular capes that are unavailable until level 20.

It's like pinball; every time you think you're doing well you discover another factor of 2 or 5 or 10. Glad you're having fun, but don't give up on the "regular" game until you get SO's and try at least one fast-moving group.

trial players can join teams, they just can't /invite anyone to anything. Last I knew, 2 trial players could ask a full account player to invite each of them and then leave the team, leaving the 2 trial players teamed together.
