well i have to say that after seeing T4 i did like it. i just got home from a 11 am showing and i did enjoy it, great special effects and the plot wasn't too bad either. so after the movie ended, my friend and i decided to see Star Trek since it was showing at the same theatre complex and it was only 20 mins between shows. can you say "bonus" of 2 movies for the price of one which was only $6 b4 noon to see a movie. i now can't wait for more Star Trek movies to come in the future, this was a very well done movie that i didn't want to end. my faith in Hollywood is now restored after seeing both movies today since i hated to waste money in the past from all the garbage i saw. but if you haven't i'd say go see them.

Star Trek was better than I had hoped it was going to be and Terminator was better than I had thought it was going to be which was great as Wolverine was as bad as I feared it was going to be.
So after a let down I got two pleasant surprises. I'd recommend TSal as it's what T3 really should have been. The step up from T2. The visceral war movie you'd want to see. A little less blood and death than I honestly would have expected but it was still kinda cool to see a one-hundred foot terminator.
I do have ONE complaint.
Why was John Connor talking like Batman?

That's Christian Bale, he always talks like that, even that movie with him as a drag queen stripper in reno. lol ironically ppl at work were talking about john connor sounding like batman today as well, so that was the answer that the consensus came up with that he always sounds like that.
oddly enough yeah, that's Christian for you. There's only a few films where he doesn't talk like that much. American Psycho is one of them, although you hear it a few times. Even in his films as a kid you can kinda hear it, Newsies and Swing Kids. Still pretty good acting regardless.

He managed to talk fairly normally in The Prestige also. But that was before he became the Batman.
i thought 4 was decent and aside from banging a robot terminatrix i thought 3 kinda sucked. bu what irks me is that at the end of 3 on the radio john gets asked, who's in charge and says i am. in 4 he's taking "offically" taking orders for higher ups, and some ppl don't believe him about everything that happened in his life... the way i see it if the world gets nuked by killer robots hell bent on killing us all and someone says hey i knew this was how it was gonna be and by the way i've killed 3 of them allready and here's there usual weaknesses....well i guess i would be inclined to hear him out.
