Best AT for solo TF's question

A partial selection from my 50's on Freedom: Ail = Ice/Traps, Luck = Street Justice/Super Reflexes Stalker, Mist = Bane, Pixy = Trick Arrow/Archery, Pure = Gravity/Energy, Smoke = Fire/Fire Dominator
Wouldn't Rad/Sonic defender be on the upper end of the list?
MMs are contenders, if memory serves. Blasters, Controllers, MMs, and Defenders are the ATs I hear about doing it most.
Basically, the ATs with -regen abilities. You can slot IOs for defense and resistance bonuses, but there's no easy way to get similar levels of debuff potential onto a scrapper.

So, only /MM Blasters? 
What about Dominators who also get Drain Psyche? And no Corruptors?
Any AT can do it, really. You simply need to be able to solo the AV(s) in the TF - the rest of it is simply running missions spawned for 2 (assuming you /kick everyone but one person off the team after you start it; you can also go with spawns based on team size if you want more of a challenge). Whether that comes from high damage output to overcome the regen (this includes resistance debuffs), or regen debuffs so that a lower damage output is needed (preferably both), all you need is a build capable of surviving the aggro (first) and dishing out enough damage (second).

I used a purpled Fire/Eng Blaster to solo Posi for a while. She was specifically slotted for the job. But I think a Fire/MM Blaster would do slightly better. No AV at the end, so Blasters provide the highest damage and therefore the fastest speed. I could do Posi in 70 minutes spawned for 2, which earned me 128 merits between my 2 accounts. The build helps with damage mitigation (lots of Ranged Defense through IO sets), while Inspirations do the rest.

I've moved on to Diablo 3, TopDoc-1304
Pretty much any AT, though the damage dealers generally come out ahead in time to completion.
Dont be afraid about grabbing and using a Shivan for the AV, and for sure use inspirations.

Ive been reading over the posts about soloing TF's and the like. Now I would assume that a scrapper would best suited for these types of situations. Correct? If so what powersets. Thankls.
