Yep, some do. I know clockwork have a weakness to psionics - my psi blasters do more damage to them than similar level critters.
As to which are weak to fire, I *believe* BP zombies are. I know that was the rumor back in the day, but I've never actually tested it, so take that with a grain of salt.
What about the winter horde? I was thinking they might be weak to it, being snow men and all.
I think Lady_Mage is right, the zombies have at least a slight vulnerability to fire. I believe that the Plant-based Devouring Earth have a weakness to fire as well.
Depending on what type of fire character you are, there is also the fact that most mechanical enemies don't run out of things like Burn patches.

I'd think so. Few enemies in this game actually have much fire resistance, one of the reasons Fire sets are so popular (since they also do lots and lots of damage).

Numbers below 1 mean strong against that type of damage. Numbers above 1 mean weak against that type of damage.
BP zombies are very resistant to cold, negative energy, psionics, and toxic. They are slightly weak against lethal, fire, and energy, but only by 5%.
EDIT: If you're planning on hitting Croatoa, it looks like Red Caps are substantially weaker against fire than other types of damage. They're also weak against negative (dark), but not by as much as fire.

Vahz Zombies are weak to Lethal damage, if I remember correctly. Clockwork were already mentioned ...those are the only ones I usually care to remember.

Do enemies in this game have actual weaknesses? Some stuff will say they are vulnerable to cold and such, but is it true or just flavor text? If so, do any have a weakness to fire?
