Prestige Power Slide disabled, but others are not

Today I logged in and got a whole bunch of Veteran rewards. Before today I'd only been given Faithful for 6 months of play. My account is much older than that, though I did have an extended period of not playing (a couple of years).

Anyway, part of those rewards were the prestige power slide/dash/glide, etc. I tried them all out to see what they looked like, and I like the Slide version. However, once I'd logged out and back in a few hours later, that power is now disabled. All the other "Prestige Power xxxxx" work, it's just "slide" that doesn't.

Any ideas why not?

Also, the power Mission Transporter is disabled too, even though I'd not used it at all so far, and I do have a mission selected.

Thanks for any help you can give me

Prestige Power Slide is not the same as the other four. The others are vet rewards, initially for preorders. Prestige Power Slide is part of the City of Heroes Collector's Edition. If you don't have that specific edition, having Prestige Power Slide was a bug.

Prestige Power slide is from the collector's edition.
Mission teleporter is from the Mac Pack.

Both of those are purchased options, which means, per our devs, they won't be given away free at any point.

(Vet rewards, of course, are given for paid time already passed.)

Please report this with the in-game /bug command. They are currently trying to track down some errant Veteran Reward grants and why they happen.

I hope I don't get hit with any of those oddball vet glitches where it knocks your other bonus powers out of whack since that would mess with several of my own heroes/villains.

Long run yea Memphis is correct on the prestige power slide power not being part of the vet prestige prints.

Can you actually purchase the CoH Collector's Edition online like you can the Mac edition, in order to get that particular power?

If you mean the power slide, only if you find a DVD version of the game. Some Big Lots store had copies, but you can also find them for sale on Amazon's auction section and on eBay.

No. However some Big Lots may still have copies for sale or if you don't mind an over priced copy you can check out Amazon.

Something new to look for. Yes, I'm one of those people who have to have it all.

One more question - is the power available only on the City of Heroes Collector's Edition, or also on the City of Villains Collector's Edition? I am finding both "Collector's Edition" DVDs online, with Villains being drastically cheaper.

Only in the DVD collection of CoH. No other way unless they start to sell the Hero pack again.

No, the CoH DVD gets you the Prestige Power slide, Cape of the Four Winds and VIP (hero) or Destined One (villian) Badge. CoV DVD only gets you the Arachnos Cape and Chest symbols IIRC - no powers and no badges.

Don't forget the physical goodies as well.

COH DVD - Heroclix of statesman.

COV DVD - art book, heroclix of all the villain patrons (and some hero names, as I recall,) copy of a starter pack of the (defunct, I believe) CCG.

The CoV Hero Clix were awesome. That and very powerful or so I'm told by folks who play the game (I have 2-300 Clix in my collection but don't play, unless you consider letting the little one use them to bodyguard her mini Care Bears)

Infinity and Victory mostly
dUmb, etc.
lolz PvP anymore, Market PvP for fun and profit

Gah, I just got this...or just noticed this...on one of my guys! Was on a TF, exemplared, and afterward happy to get my higher-level powers back -- was loking at that and noticed Prestige Power Slide grayed out. Guess I'll bug it.
