Which Trio? (Thug/Trap x1, Thug/FF x2 OR Bots?)

I'm thinking about a Mastermind Trio. Which would be the more silly / zany / fun combo?

Thugs/Traps
Thugs/FF
Thugs/FF

OR

Robots/Traps
Robots/FF
Robots/FF

The masterminds themselves would achieve the same basic crazy good stacked defense numbers in either case. However, the Bots combo would have -regen from the top robot (I believe) but Thugs would have the crazy stacking maneuvers (for the pets only) from the enforcers. At least I think the enforcers' auras affect the thug pets of other masterminds.

Which route would you try?

Either one of those would be a superteam out of the box and very survivable. I would barely lean toward the Robots/ just thematically speaking.

I, however, would not want to play either of the /FFs and have to bubble 18 pets

Id love to see three Gang Wars triggered at once.

For a short period of time, while running an all-Thugs superteam we were able to trigger 8 at once.

I have never had such an easy time playing this game

Thanks for the replies. Additional replies are welcome. I'll dwell on it for a bit.

FF would be wasted for your pets. 6*Maneuvers @ 8.47 (just checked mine in game) 50%, already over soft cap.
I'd go thugs, just maybe switch some secondaries, like 1 FF to a dark or something

I played with a couple friends a trio of thugs/traps.

It was obscene.

I will not rest until we have in-game throwable pies!

For both teams, I would suggest going with a /poison as the third. Thugs/poison really shines when your bruiser pays a visit with noxious gas pouring from him. The extra oomph in the poison debuffs would make a big difference on the hardest of targets. I think a variety in the secondaries would bring more effectiveness.

I vote for a trio off the list: Thug/Storm x 3.

I am willing to demonstrate the insane potential of such a combo. I've got 6 myself Freezing Rain pretty much ends the game.

Is this going to be multi-boxed, or is this three people playing at one time?

for multi-box, I would make one of the FF into pain-dom, since heals can be done fairly easily with macros/binds.

If three people, I too throw my vote to /storm x3.

and for the primary, I vote for thugs. multi-gang war is nice, but also, having an army shooting guns at the target all at once is just an awesome feeling.

Multi-box. That's why /Poison and /Dark for the 3rd don't work for me. They are a bit too busy.

/Pain would be great on auto, but I already have a Thugs/Pain that I solo/team with, but that I dont multi-box with. I'm not looking to make another one. In theory, I could just exemplar down with the one I have, who is level 42, but I kinda want a themed trio that plays together from the ground up.

Yeah, I think I want to go with Thugs also. Just because it is more wacky, and because Gang War x3 = silly fun.

You really don't have to do anything but fire 3x Freezing Rain with Thug/Storms. I'd recommend not even using Hurricane except for very specific rare circumstances.

I've gone through the routine of deciding which trio has the best ridiculous damage and multiboxing potential. Thug/Storm was it. I'll show you it sometime if you like

I'm not interested in a Thugs/Storm trio. For one thing, I have a Necro/Storm trio in the 30s already, and a Ninja/Storm trio in the teens. I also have a "War Trio" which consists of Robot/Storm, Merc/Storm, and AR/Rad. I also have a Thug/Storm in the 30s already who I play on his own without a team.

So, I'm not looking for another Mastermind Storm Trio. I already got some.

3x traps

or 1 traps 2 ff if you dont want to manually have to refresh ffg on the other two boxes
