Title Change as Veteran Reward?

Didn't see it listed anywhere else so sent it as a in-game feedback suggestion this morning. How about for the 63-month veteran reward you can choose 2 titles from ANY origin name list? For the longest time I wanted to have the 'Mysterious' title for my Dk/Dk Magic Defender but unfortunately that title is only available for Natural heroes. This way you would be able to choose more suitable titles for your heroes and villains and not be constrained by the choices only available for your origin.

Thoughts?

I have a thought, you keep putting "archetype", when you mean to say "origin". Otherwise... I'm very "meh" about the idea and can't bring myself to care too much about it.

You're right, YanYan - meant to say 'origin' not 'archetype'

Duly noted and corrected. Muchas gracias!

Bah, as one of the many, many, many people who will never catch up to the latest vet reward, I'd hate to see such a QoL improvement be tied into something I can't do for another 33 months. I'd love to have the full list of origin-specific titles available to all my characters, but I'd hate to see it restricted.

This isn't a bad idea, but I don't think this alone would be appropriate. And that is if they don't stop at 60 months like everyone suspects.

Well for something like this it shouldn't just be handed out, maybe once you hit 50 you talk to a special trainer (Maybe War Witch in Pocket D) and she gives an arc or TF to do?

As do I, Dispari. I've been hoping that titles would become more customizable but it hasn't happened yet. I figured it would be better to get it as a reward than to not get it at all. Another option would be to pay influence and/or prestige for the privilege to choose your own title, but I'd be afraid that the cost would be outrageous to do so.

Why make it so complicated? Titles don't do anything to anyone. They're just a cute little addition to the game. It's a quality of life feature to have more of them available to a character. It would be incredibly silly to make you wait until 50 and have to do an arc or task force just to add a name over your head that literally doesn't do anything.

That make you wait until 15 to pick the first one. Then 25 to pick a second and change the first. Then at 30 and 40 you can change both or either, or neither of them (or is it 35 and 45, I can't remember). Then at 50 you get unlimited change options, just by swinging by any Trainer.

The titles are already arbitrarily level locked (just like a LOT of other things which are "just a cute little addition to the game" like capes, auras, certain weapon and costume pieces, etc), so there is precedence to keep it that way, even if not in the provided example.

A better reply would be to suggest that levels 30 and 40 add something to the current system. For example:

What if at level 30, you unlocked your "neighbor" titles, ones found on origins "next to" your origin (in that Magic and Tech are neighbors to Natural). Then at level 40, you unlock those NOT your "neighbors" (Mutant and Science, which don't share any DOs with Natural).

That adds to the current system, and follows a set precedence already established.

[/ QUOTE ]Right. Just like badges. And we don't have to do anything silly-complicated for THOSE...

That's just stupid. When I think of mysterious, I always thing of Dr. Strange before I think of the Green Arrow.
