Well his computer is here, but I got roped into carpooling four of the boyscouts home, so we would be pretty late getting back and I still need to load the client onto his new computer. Sooo, I hate this, but please take our names off the list.

Bah! Carpools!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry you got roped into carpooling Roxona. We'll miss you tonight. See you next time

Glad his computer made it though

That's awesome, that person cracks me up
I was a little late but i still got there before MB

So did it all go smoothly tonight?

Posted

Pretty smoothly. My team came in dead last, but I'm happy with the results. I'll post up a long post in the morning. Jim's team came in first, then MB's at around an hour-ish each. Mine was close to two hours

Late to show, and late to post.. lol I have had a long crazy day.. kinda rough. Sorry about the late arrival. I knew it would happen eventually, especially after jynxing myself a couple weeks ago (5/9/09):[ QUOTE ]
I'm waiting for the day something happens to me on Monday night and I miss the Horde action. It's bad enough I work late and barely get home on time as it is. As a permanent team leader, that wouldn't look good for me either. I also don't even have open internet access from work, so there is no way to even let somebody know "I'm late, but on my way". lol

[/ QUOTE ]
Kinda crazy, huh? lol
I wish I really could have sent that last highlighted part to somebody. Maybe I'll have to make some arrangements somehow in the rare chance that it might happen again. lol

Anyway, I finally did make it online and we quickly started the TF. We weren't looking to break any records, and with a few sk's.. a speed-run probably wouldn't have been a good idea anyway.

Overall, things went smooth.. other than my fire alarm going off and having to go afk for half the second mission, lol. (Oh I'm just glad Monday is over. rofl)

Rom was just as easy to "break", even with Phanta too far away from mentor at only lvl 41.. the only downfall was dying afterward. Certainly not the same results Tabby has.. but it got the job done. We pulled Rom away from his Nictus and took him down. We then went to my favorite multi-ambush location on the top of the hill and by the time that was over, we only had to hit 1 more roof to finish the mission.

Nice job everybody! The next couple weeks in the shard are on SUNDAY, so make sure to plan accordingly. I plan on doing the TFs in one night. Luna (and maybe a 3rd team) will be splitting it to Sunday/Monday.

I don't have to work next weekend, and the following weekend I get out at 6pm.. so you wont have to worry about me being late. haha. See you then!

GJ to everyone that ran it and thx again Luna for organizing
I invited a cpl of SG mates and they joined a team just prior to the 10pm kick-off. Since it was such a good turnout, I ran with them on a PUG and it went well; no Hami invites during the ITF.

Catch you guys on the next TF

Not sure how fast we finished on Jim's team last night but I had a hard time keeping up. it was wild! A lot of deaths to include me about 4 times. But in all it was a good run; Thanks Jim and thanks again Luna.

pfft - I am going to go out on a limb & say that I probably died more than your entire team (probably more then the other 2 teams combined).

I think I remember him posting 58 mins and 9 deaths, something like that.

Thanks for organizing this Luna, it was quite fun as a Widow (only died once despite holding an absurd amount of aggro a few times).

Let's See MB's team had 19 deaths, Jim's had 9 so that is:

19+9=28

Yep, pretty sure you died more than that Heck, *I* died more than that. lol

Thank you everyone for coming out last night! Sorry it was a little nutty as always trying to form up the teams. It finally worked out.

I had faith in you MB, I figured you would be there when you could be. I had *just* told Johnny to fill your spot and head out when you logged in. We were able to get them back before they officially got started. I feel bad that the bubbler your team tried to send to mine didn't want to be part of my "lowbie" team, but oh well! I tried my best

As mentioned, my team was a LOWBIE team. We were scaled to 40-42 in level. We had one 50 that we exemped down, and one 35 we sk'd up.

My team was:
DarkestFrost: Dark/Ice Defender
Mr. E-Lectric: Elec/Elec Brute
FrozenUnder: Ice/Kin Controller
Stone Free: Stone/Stone Tank
Super Barrio: Thugs/Poison MM
Frost Victim: Ice/Ice Blaster
Silverback: Invul/SS Tank

Even though we were slow, I'm very happy with how the team went last night. Most of the team was members of The Infinite League, my SG, and well we have a habit of playing a bit aggressively. It was a little hard to keep them reigned in, but they got the hang of it after a while.

We finished in 1:54 minutes with 87 deaths. Lol

Like I said, I think it went okay. We died a LOT, but we were a lowbie team with only Dark, Kin and Poison for Heals and Debuffs.

I got to put Howling Twilight to its full use on a few occasions when we had near team wipes. A few times I was dead before the people I was rezzing finished standing up lol. Of course a few times they died before the animation finished for the rez as well

Thanks for coming out everyone! I had a ton of fun last night. Setup was stressful as always, but it's always fun to run with my friends

Next week starts the dreaded Shadow Shard TF's. Like MB said earlier, we are going to start on that Sunday night instead of Monday night. He will be running an all night team on Sunday. I'll be running a two night team split between Sunday and Monday. We'll likely have a third team, but it will depend on what the leader wants to do, and what people sign up for. Your options when signing up will be: One Night Preferred, Two Night Preferred, or Either/Doesn't Matter. I'll get the sign up sheet up later today or tomorrow.

Any volunteers to lead the third team?

For those not familiar with the Shadow Shard I would recommend the following:

Hit up General Hammond for his Tutorial Mission that explains the geysers.

There is a vendor in Fire Base Zulu that sells temp flight packs to assist the shard challenged.

Logging off in any of the Shadow Shard zones also grants the Day Job Jet Pack.

Luna ... I'm considering joining your two night team for the shadow shard TF ... I think I can significantly reduce that death count... and avoid some wife aggro by staying up for 8 hours!
