I think this is going to be a fun TF to run.

It's not often I do it without Tabby, so I might just start screaming forward like a wild and crazy kitty. It should be interesting to see what happens. lol

I think I should still be able to "break" Rom though... I guess we'll see.

sign me up for this one, i'll bring a lvl appropriate character if necessary or any one of my various 50s. i'll probably start out on jim archer then change if necessary.

I Love this TF! But I'm pretty nervous about it as well. As me and you have discussed before MB, I've got an iffy track record of about 50/50 success rate on teams I've been on. I'll be relying on E's and Xort's advice for leading my team, but I'm still nervous this will end up as another one that my teams fails

Plus I *may* have a few members of my SG along on my team, so it might be a bit interesting because they do not always listen to directions.

I'm worried the most about Romy. That's always where we have problems at. I hope I can get a good tank and a second debuffer on my team &lt;hint, hint guys!&gt;.

[/ QUOTE ] Awwe, I think you are making it sound worse than it is. I think you'll get through the ITF just fine.

If you usually have problems with Rom, try my trick that "breaks" him:
Rush his platform immediately after the Cutscene (the "Real Rom" wont be spawned yet).

You being there (not using stealth, or attacking a side-group to suppress it) will make him instantly spawn, but the Nictus' bond will be broken.

Once this happens, you can pull Rom away from the platform, and the Nictus will refuse to follow. As long as you keep him in Line of Sight of the Nictus (even hundreds of yards away), he will still continue to use them to Rez and you wont have to worry about them at all.

Without them.. any team should be able to repeatedly take him down easily.


There are other methods of breaking Rom, some including a Teleport trick that gives your character a closeup in the cutscene and possibly making the duplicate "Cutscene Rom" not unspawn. He'll have no powers and wont attack you. It makes for a good photo opportunity... and another easy kill.

Chaulk one up for explots? lol

Oooh, Bring your tank Pretty please I trust you to tank Romy. I think Scruffy and I can debuff him ok, but I definately want a solid tank on board for my team

If my SG mates come, one of them will probably be on a tank, but I'll tell him to stay towards the back.. he plays his tank like a scrapper

Edit: You'll probably be exemped down to 40-42ish on my team. Is that okay?

i've got a fire/stone brute, fire/thermal corr, fire/rad corr, fire/cold corr, ar/kin corr, fire/rad troller, fire/kin troller, ice/kin troller all at 50 or a few scattered buffers/debuffers in the 39-42 range based on what the team needs.

As far as which toon... how about Nothing2See - ill/rad troller (always good having a Rad along for the ride!)

Hey Luna just checked and Austal is sitting on lvl 38 (couldnt remember what level he was lol).

Probably be one night later this week after 10pm or this weekend (just thinking of MB's schedule off the top of my head)
