unstable ground glitch
I think somebody once said there was a graphics option for geometry buffers that might fix that. there might be another one too, but I forget right now. It's been a while since I saw that.

Hi also run a dell insp 1521 with the same stuff as you ...
your settings seem incredibly high to me .... if u do still run this machine/remember what it was like where your load times a killer?
i run with Mediumartical -high:world - high:character - and low (with charcter bumpmaps ... my loads times are around 10-20 which is bearable for me ... where yours considerably longer? i would like to no if its simply the graphics or the net speed that factors into loads?
ty
first off curb, update all your drivers. then update to service pack 2 for vista. your video drivers look like they were corrupted when installed.
9 months later...
he also needs to update to service pack 2 for vista as told by this:
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.090302-1506)
and because of this: C Drive: (WDC WD2500BEVS-75UST0 ATA Device) 38204MB out of 205484MB (18%) free, i would try to remove anything you didn't absolutely need on the hard drive. store your music and photos/videos on a portable hdd or flash drive.
Absolutely no idea what is causing this. depending on where the over-shoulder camera view is, the ground raises and drops, sometimes hiding my villian and all enemies completely. I have a before and after screen shot of me turning 30 degrees to the left. Other times only sections of the ground/floor will raise.

After

Has anyone else ever encountered this?
I run windows Vista (32-bit) with 2 gigs of ram and an AMD Turion 2.20 GHz processor. Any help troubleshooting would be greatly appreciated.
