Prestige Farming and the 3 man SG

hardly anything is easily availabe without farming to a certain degree. imo.
I farm for prestige. I wish i could shut off xp and inf and go for just prestige.
edit: TONS of prestige...
Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.
There are ways to earn prestige without having to use MA. I have a solo SG and can earn around 15k prestige as hour solo.
Care to enlighten us??
Why don't you just bring some people into your SG/VG? If you're going to be building a nice base, why not share it with others?

Because then it no longer suits the purpose for its creation. Look, sometimes, people want to create guilds/SGs/VGs for just a small subset of players. Whether that be only RL friends or family or what have you. Adding "people" outside of that group kills accountability or deprives those "people" of some of the base's utility. Like, if everyone in your SG/VG is someone you can reach out and touch (via phone or physically), if something comes up missing, it's easy to find out why. Now, you could add a storage container or two for those "people" to use but now you're spending precious prestige on luxury items when there may be necessities that still need to be purchased. Opening it up to "other people" is usually a non-starter in these cases.

I could care less about exploits. good riddance to them. I farm for prestige and only prestige. Tickets are great for rolls. I put all my recipes on the market for cheap. see the recipes going for ten mill and all of a sudden one goes for 200k ish? yer welcome.
I would like to see a prestige to inf revamp for i15. the exchange rate is horrible. everything else I am quite happy and content with.
I'm not saying that all there is left in the game is base editing, thats too negative, Im just really into base editing and it so happens I know how to farm.
Another thing, you will never ever see me advertising what I do. I'm a reclusive and mainly solo creature.

My main has over 4.5 million Prestige. He was not farmed. It took me more than 2 years to get him to 50, and he was my first 50.
I have been playing since the original open beta, and he was my first toon.
Also...around level 35, I moved him from Champion to Freedom, which had him start over on Prestige when I formed my new sg over a year ago. So his Prestige was generated in the past...maybe 1.5 years...and NONE of it was any form of farming.
I do farm, but not on him (he's a regen scrapper).
This week, I started a new toon that I am turning experience off until he completes each of his contacts at each level...just so I can have a toon with all arcs done and all contacts done, and with all TFs unlocked.
Now...I did turn off experience on my fire/Kin, but I had no idea until this post that that would increase Prestige earning...or does it?
EDIT: I should say...my SG Prestige is at over 63 million freed up after getting the largest secure plot possible. My SG is almost always full and it always close to full.
We stay active and SG Mode WAS reguired for a long time, but now is not unless you want to earn promotions. I'm finding that most people play in sg mode anyway.
And when it comes to removing inactive members to make room to stay active as a group, I hit the ones with no Prestige first.

I asked this exact same question on /broadcast on Freedom. Someone replied, no, and you actually got less prestige with XP turned off. Didn't verify it, so take it with a grain of salt.

The only thing I can add is that my roommate and I have a 2 person functioning base without farming, powerleveling, filling or any of those things...it is possible and can be done simply make several alts for their bonuses (with SG invitation) and simply play all your toons in SG mode....you will be surprised how fast it accumulates.
We use our base on a weekly basis to create enhan, storage, medical bay, and tp to several locales..its not a huge SG base by any stretch but meets or exceeds or needs with no problems.
