Hate to start a new one, but...
You must be very careful with how you use the word "challenge". The game was never really that hard. Sure, it could take a long time to level up certain builds, and if you make a bad power pick it can frustrate you for a long time. The key thing here is time. Time is quite possibly the only commodity players really lack. Real life basically takes up so much of people's time. I'm not saying that's a bad thing - just that being able to "enjoy" your character, (which IMO is usually in the 30+ game), can simply take longer than many people are willing to wait.
I was thinking - what if they made or changed one of the servers into a 'flat leveling' server? You cannot, under any circumstances, get more than Z XP per hour or somesuch. You can rest assured that NO PL-ers will be on this server.
Apart from that, people will always look for the fastest route to what they want. I don't believe you can stop PL-ing and farming. All you can do is curb it or restrict it to certain parts of the game.

great idea, but my beef is with the MA/AE stuff, so yes... if applied to those things game-wide... be great
Please consilidate this into one of the 50000000000000 other threads of this nature. I recommend the Dev started one in the developers corner section dealing with i14 feedback.
I'd like to comment more on this topic but all the diverse threads are really starting to cut into my farming time.
my beef is not with PL'ing.... been going on forever... but, i'm afraid it is so easy now that there will not be any game AT ALL before long because it it too easy to pl with MA/AE
If that is your concern, I would think that would be feedback on i14 yes?
& that would be where?

Stickied in the developer's corner section of the board like i told you at the beginning of your thread.
And......another one.....
It's the weekend. We should have a pool about how many farming threads there will be by the time Mod8 gets back to lock them all.
I'm taking 513.

@Doctor Gemini
Arc #271637 - Welcome to M.A.G.I. - An alternative first story arc for magic origin heroes. At Hero Registration you heard the jokes about Azuria always losing things. When she loses the entire M.A.G.I. vault, you are chosen to find it.
oh hey it's 9:50 Pacific, time to read another crappy thread about how bothered people are by others enjoying a game in a different way.
PL MEH!
You know what really burns my biscuits? All these self righteous goobers who are posting these endless complaints about MA farming messing up their gaming experience are *exactly* the same kind that are spamming the "please play my arc" messages.
I can't freaking wait for the video card that lets you punch people through the internet.
Please limit discussion of farming to one of the many threads already in existence.
Thanks,

If you are using Latin in your post you are probably trolling

I'm sure someone else brought this up, but to me, the MA/AE powerleveling thing is so out of whack, that this game will essentially be no more than a console game before long. People hit 50 so fast they get bored & move to something else. That is why i care that noobs play the game as it was. It used to be a real challenge to get to 50. Heck, it used to be a challenge to get your travel power or your first extra costume slot. Now, all you need is two days to hit 50?!? But my real point is this... I care about the long term viability of this game. But if it is so easy & ultimately unrewarding to reach the max lvl, any new player will leave. If i could join WoW and could hit (70 i think) within a week, it wouldn't mean anything, so i wouldn't care... when it takes work (and time) to accomplish something, you become invested in that thing... how fun would Tetris be long term if you had the option to summon the straight stick anytime you needed it?!? the long term fun IS IN THE CHALLENGE... without that, there is no long term
