brainstorm crazy things to do with/in MA

if you've read Ender's Game, at one point he assigns a kid to think of crazy and dumb strategies to win. The crazier and dumber the better. The idea was to think outside the box.

What are some crazy/dumb things to do in MA?

make a tutorial - teach someone calculus in MA
make a history lesson - teach someone the history of Paragon City

riddles - ask a question, have clickies labeled with possible answers. The wrong clickie spawns an ambush, the right one completes the objective

do a music video - have the NPC's say the lyrics to a song/poem. Have the setting, actions, animations, etc match the song/poem

Someone already did an arc based on that riddle idea - I think it's called "Grim Riddles".

Also, someone made an arc that's a tutorial for the MA itself. I thought that was pretty clever.

Someone else made a custom arc for their son's birthday.

I'm afraid I'm going to keep my own crazy ideas to myself for the moment. Big work in progress.

And for a while things were cold,
They were scared down in their holes
The forest that once was green
Was colored black by those killing machines

I've seen the name Grim Riddles - I'll have to check it out

I saw someone saying he was going to make an arc to teach people how to use the markets to hopefully help do away with "you guys who make money on the markets are ebil!" sentiments. Dunno who that was or if he/she did it.

I've idly kicked around the idea of trying to make one to teach some science, sort of like the calculus idea up there, but so far nothing solid has come of it.

I feel embarrassed, in that light, to admit that only published arc so far is about bunnygirls. I am sooooo deep.

I have a plan for an arc where instead of being you, you play as a young boy, tormented by the ghosts of famous murderers and taunted until you in the final mission, decide to kill Statesman, never knowing if they are ghosts or delusions. But in order to enforce the powerless nature, I'd lock the player at level one through each of the five missions using the Infected and Flower Knight...

I really think people would hate it but the idea appeals to me a great deal.

locking them at level 1 is an interesting idea - power gamers still have shivans and such - but for normal players it would enforce more story following.

if only you could ban temp powers so they couldn't still use jetpacks and such

"Fool Me Once" (Arc ID: 1072) is a riddle arc.

I played an arc, can't remember the title, where one of the missions did not contain a single enemy. There were a few allied boss spawns that said things as you walked by, and you clicked a blinky to complete.

remember the name

that sounds like something I want to see

Pretty easy to do, just pick a map where every spawn point can be replaced by an objective (this one used one of the troll caves), place as many allied boss spawns as you want, and I guess you'd fill the rest of the spawn points with stuff that triggers off the boss objectives you placed. Which, since they're allies, you can never complete. Then add a blinky, so the mission can actually be completed.

Just FYI, the Giant Robot map from the Hess TF is one of the ones where every spawn point can be replaced, although you will get shot at by the turrets.

I'm sure it can be done - I want to see what someone did with it. I'm not really saying "I want to see an empty map".

The ally bosses talked as you walked by, and it was a fairly linear map so you had to go through all of them to get to the blinky. Seriously, it's late and I'm drinking, don't make me look it up. The arc used the SFMA tag and had to do with vikings, and warned about a reward-less mission in the description.
