How do you smuggle players of their influence? I find that to be impossible.

Funny thing is most of us here on the forums have passed influence to newbies at random. Just never did it on a set schedule.... It's always fun going to Atlas Park after a mish and opening a trade with a random lvl 1 or 2 and passing them a tray of lvl 50 enhancements. Usually that just stuns them LOLZ. 
I used to go around and find someone who was completely clueless and help them to get level 10 or so. Then drop around 150k-150k on them.
Now people would want me to get them to level 20, massage their feet, drop two sets of purples, and a PvP IO set and MAYBE they'd be happy.

Isn't this the truth. I used to patrol Hollows for an hour or two at night with my emp giving out random heals and buffs and now groups want me to follow them as they do kill-all outdoor mishes and such.
Of course that is if I can even find anyone anymore these days, seems like the server is really quiet the last few times I have logged in.
Coming back out of the woodwork after a couple years away from the game...
