Claws question
Focus. ranged , short animation , faster recharge.
Was leaning toward Focus due to its single target aspect. But the 15% chance for crit/dbl dmg (I forget) sounded differently appealing.
I use both.
Ignoring anyone is a mistake. You might miss something viral to your cause.
Which has yielded the better dmg dealer? looking to choose only one or the other.

This Is My build on NinjaVampyre, 400 Rep and hyolding there. If you have any questions on how it works I have a 2 PvP videos on youtube, link in my signature. Hope it helps.
Also I've replaced all the Doc wounds with the new PvP IO set, this allows me to net 175% global rech along with more 30% more regen. Not to mention the 8 other bonuses I recieve.

There really is no reason not to have both. They are the two heaviest hitters of a claws rotation, and you will not have endurance issues as a Claws/Scrapper due to your attack chain.
If you are really dead set in having one over the other, then Focus for reasons already mentioned.
Appreciate it, folks.
From the guy whose been playing a claws as his main since Issue 2, I hope my advice has some weight. I'm also the only pvper on Triumph that uses claws as his main. You're foolish if you don't have both. Drop whatever you gotta drop to make it happen. Focus is the bread and butter of your attack chain. That's the best bang for your buck in the set, period.
As for Eviscerate you need it. Sure its a "cone" but its +special is an extra chance to land a crit. Claws is weak at damage and in straight up duels that extra crit comes quite in handy and is often the difference between a win or a lose.
As for my own attack chain it's simple:
Follow up, slash, focus, eviscerate.
The order isn't random. I open with follow up so get the immediate "build up" for the rest of the chain. I then use slash to debuff their defense, focus and evicerate are my heavy hitters, espically when you add in the knockdown or extra chance to crit.
I'm decked out with 7.5s, hasten, and lots of set bonuses so I can usually get my follow up to double stack on my chain. When I throw on Gees of the Kind One or if I happen to have an external speed recharnge buff, I run a 3 attack chain and drop the Eviscerate out of the chain, but I still like it in there.
I have strike but it's unslotted, not in my tray, and a waste of a power to have, but we're forced to take tier 1 or tier 2.
Anyway, that's my take.
Playing around with claws since I never have before. Undecided on a secondary. Not putting a ton of effort into it till I play with the toon some. My question is choosing Focus or Eviscerate. Any opinions on these 2? I usually go for the single target powers (duel style) as the cones are usually end heavy and meant for multiples. Whats the word?
