Editing a published arc?
Yes.
Don't "unpublish", just edit your published one. The options at the top then say things like "republish and play" or "republish and exit".
iedit: I always "republish and exit" because it seems to take a few seconds for that to happen. I'll then wait for the confirmation to pop up and then enter for a test run to see how the changes work.
Yes. An option is ther to edit. Look under "My Published Arcs". This also keeps the current Arc ID

Yes. Open "My Published Stories" and edit them from there. You can't overlay a published story with a local copy of it, though -- my recommendation is after publishing, you only make edits on the published version, then after editing, save your local copy from the published version. That way you always have a backup, but the "master version" is the published one, not the local one.

Yes. Go to your published arc and there will be an Edit button. Just remember to hit the REpublish button. That updates the published arc. If you hit UNpublish, it removes the arc from the server and you lose all ratings.

I haven't "saved my local copy from the published version" yet. Is that an option from inside the local copy or is there a special step to take?
The edit doesn't always take, either, I've noticed. Give it a minute and make sure it republished the update instead of AE lag eating it.
thanks for the feedback - I had been unpublishing mine.

It's in the edit. I usually republish, then go back in and do the "save local copy" because if you "save local copy" it doesn't republish and you have to go back in redo all your edits over again.
Unless I'm missing something and there's a way to edit the published copy by somehow uploading the local one? Anyone? I haven't seen anything, but I've been missing a lot of things.

I noticed in the patch notes that there were 2 things that could make a mission invalid. In both cases it said "do not unpublish" your mission as you will lose your ratings.
So is it possible to edit a published mission?
