Quick Suggestion for Energy Melee/Assault
Did I miss why Energy Melee of all things needs a buff?

I don't see how this'd make Energy Assault not suck, it'd help in far too few situations (Master Illusionists and Fake Nemesis are pretty much the only two... maybe a misc Crey boss occasionally).
And Energy Melee obviously needs it due to having a useless secondary effect (only a useless stun!) as well as being the lowest damaging powerset in the game. Plus, Energy Transfer only hits for like 20 damage WITH BUILD UP!
(I really hope no one misses the sarcasm in the second paragraph...)

Obviously Energy Melee needs it 'cause Energy Transfer got nerfed. QED
Also I've never quite understood the hate on Energy Assault.

Fake nems are in PFF, not considered in Phase, I believe. Just "Affecting Self." And honestly, EM handles them nicely with stacked stuns. Not *AS* nicely as, say, Superstrength with all the knockup/down/around, but still pretty decently.
Overall, it's such an incredibly limited situation I don't see it being added.

They are in a PFF, but a mob-cheating version that is indeed a Phase power.

It's not a mob cheating version, it's more like a cage power that they inflict on themselves. Cage powers are handled differently than phase powers with the new phase-attacking rules.

The only 'buff' energy melee needs in my opinion is to be made blue - at least for blasters, to match energy blast.

[/ QUOTE ]The Dominator problem with energy assault, if I can try and summarise a complex problem in a short way is that it sacrifices damage for control, and sacrifices area effect for single-target focus. Sets like /fire and /elec do everything Energy Assault tries to do, and unfortunately, they do it much better.
This is most directed towards Dominators but could also add a little bit more utility for Brutes and Tanks.
How about having Energy melee attacks be able to attack enemies in any Phase in PvE? PvP having this option might be a bit unbalanced.
