Good pvp build for blaster/corruptor?

I want a long range attack based build for pvp, any suggestions?

SS Brute with Spirit Shark

From what I've gathered, Fire/ is pretty amazing both in PvE and PvP. Very damaging. Blaze, Fire Blast, and Flares can make a nice attack chain.

Also, /Energy has a power that increases range drastically, which is really really nice. A lot of melee powers, but you can pass them up if you need to.

I have an Archery Blaster that I like a lot so far, and a friend of mine has a level 50 Archery/Devices Blaster that is pretty stud (what I based mine off of). Quick recharge, very solid damage, and the tier 9 power is one of the best nukes in the game. It doesn't have the crash that the other nukes have (just a normal endurance cost, no complete drain or anywhere close), and it can be used from range. It's devastating if you can sneak it on a group of villains that are tied up in melee with some other heroes. Situational, but you'll want it anyway for the PvE that you do and because it looks so cool. Can also +recharge it easily enough to fire it off every 30 seconds.

If you're looking for very long range, I'd go with Archery/Energy or Fire/Energy. Thing is, Lethal damage is more resisted in PvP than Fire damage is.

I personally don't have any first-hand experience with these in high PvP zones, just seen them done by friends and gotten opinions on here.

He is at least correct.

Psi is better. Flying psi/em with boost range and snipe.

Honestly, do people expect me to be nice when they are asking the same question as the first about 5ish threads on the page? Especially when I'm correcting someone who has no knowledge trying to talk about something they don't know about?

Considering that I mentioned I didn't have any personal experience more than once in my post, I think the OP won't be mislead whenever he reads my post because he knows I wasn't very experienced with it. I admitted I didn't know much about the topic, but I tried to help with what knowledge I did have.

Well then why wont you just educated them without trying to make a monkey of them? Hard to to correct someone seriously when the person doing the correcting is coming off a like a d-wad and looking like a buffoon.

While those are good, the OP isn't "wrong". Fire is also very good still. It's not the undisputed best, but it's capable of tons of damage.

fire is just ok, sonic is very good I like Psi better then sonic but thats a personal thing. I dont' know why people think Dev is good but what ever....

Corruptors pretty much do suck now if you aren't Elec/Therm. For ranged damage Forts are best, but even Banes and Doms are better.
