"Character Plates"

So I got bored yesterday after work, and instead of playing the game (duh! I pay $15/mo for forums and a glorified chat room!), I fiddled around with demo records and photoshop!

The results are:
Character Plate: Aggelakis
Character Plate: Sparkerella

I've been calling them "character plates", but a group of my friends have latched on to "trading cards" instead...

I don't think I'm done tweaking the layouts yet, but I like them so far!

RE: commissions, I don't think I am ready for that yet, cos I literally just started fiddling with demo records FOR THIS PROJECT...but it's a future possibility.

These are very cool! - wasn't there some little app that went with the CoH CCG that allowed you to print out and use your in-game character as a card in the CCG?

Maybe they're not Trading Cards, they're Dating Cards.

I tried to make a set of "trading/stat cards" a couple years ago, but I'm not much of a visual artist and I don't really have a good handle on the tools of the trade yet.

This gives me some inspiration to pick that project back up. Thanks.

Personally, I'd rather have a back that's more like a playing card back, i.e. no stats/info/etc. on it. Just a simple CoH or CoV back, depending on if the character on the card is a Hero or Villain.
