Many many on my D4--
--running that huge outdoor redcaps map with a PUG (pretty good one) but someone brought back a spawn of the little devils just as we got hit with the ambush. They were behind me, I went down, healthbars started heading black right and left. popped wakey/bf/blue/med defense, hit howling twilight and fearsome stare, and rezzed my team who then proceeded to wipe the map with them. final word from our leader (a scrapper): 'Dang. I'm going to have to re-think dark defenders.'
--playing my then-level-38 empy, got a tell asking if I'd help out with a mish. sure, no problem--mish comes up and it's the one where you have to beat Nosferatu, so I *book it* to the mission to see a game of health-bar whack-a-mole going on. Team (and AV) are 4 levels above me, I'm trying, but it just doesn't work. team wipes. I tell 'em I'm going to come back with my dark, who has debuffs and furthermore is level-appropriate for the mish. I get back, we've lost a blaster and 3 scrappers, lead is trying to fill. can't find any more scraps or blasters, has to 'settle' for another dark/dark (two of us now), a /kin troller and a /rad troller. he reluctantly lets us talk him into trying it with just the team he has, all the debuffers laughing into their sleeves. Nosferatu is down well before HT recharges, and I have it slotted for max recharge for the debuff...
--Running the Dr. Vazzy mission on my rad/rad, throwing RI and EF, hopping into the spawn, hitting irradiate, hopping out to hit electron haze and send them all flying into a wall, repeat. scrapper playing with us says "<-- thinks rad should be a scrapper set". I replied with, "dude, what are you talking about? Rad *is* a scrapper set!"
--running tyrant mish, set at unyeilding, with my D4, 4 scrappers, and a sidekicked empy who was looking for team. we get in and one of the scrappers looks at team makeup and says, ok, who's playing lead tank? I said, generally I do, leap forward, hit first spawn with fearsome stare and TT and start melting their hitpoints away.
Scrap watches a moment, says, 'good enough' and the carnage kicks in. it was beautiful.

10 50s, a 48, and and better than 100 sub-50 alts... the altitis is strong in this one.
For me it was trio-ing the original respec trial (skyraiders version) with another def and a scrapper. We started the mission with a blaster who dropped out and then the other def (emp/psi), scrapper (kat/reg), and I (kin/rad) went off to Terra Volta and methodically took it apart.
At that time these forums were awash with thread after thread about how difficult the trial was, especially for gimped characters, but there we were, three gimped characters and only one real damage dealer. But we did it.

For me it's every time I do ITF on my FF/Rad/Elec without a good tank and we smoke em 
Or when I do Posi in under 1.5 hours with 2 blasters that hardly get hit. I love my gimped FF.

Oddly enough, my best defender moment was a PvP moment, even though I don't like PvP.
Back when /Storm controllers were a PvP FotM but the entire defender AT was considered a non-threat, I was taking my Storm defender around Siren's Call, opening presents for the winter event while collecting bounties here and there. Then I noticed a stalker rep farmer type was my bounty -- ugh. According to the waypoint, she was just sitting on a rooftop. Probably at the stealth cap, just waiting for someone to open the present to get an easy risk-free kill.
So I oblige.
I turn off Hurricane, fly up to the rooftop, drop down to the present, and click. Then, halfway through the progress bar, I interrupt the click to dump Freezing Rain right on top of myself.
Hello. She's /Dark without Acrobatics. And, what's this, she had another stalker buddy with her. Double AS rep farmers, I suppose. Double the fun. Freezing Rain suppresses their stealth and interrupts both their AS's, the one without knock protection gets her bounty taken by the "easy-kill" defender, the other runs away like a typical stalker kiddie, and they both leave the zone in search of easier pickins. Good feeling, teaching someone a lesson like that.
Using Disruption Arrow,Oil Slick Arrow,lighting it, then following up with Rain of Arrows on a huge mob.
Fun times...

Dropping sleet and ice storm on one mob of cimerorians then immediately walking over to the next mob and using blizzard, killing both mobs within 3 seconds then using heatloss so when i approached the 3rd mob I had a full blue bar and capped recovery.
Positron's i13 letter: We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.
Believe it or not, and most players don't until they see it for themselves, I can actually Tank with my lvl 50 Rad/Rad Defender (Doc Nite'). Once I drop my mega IO'd buffs, the safest place to stand is actually in the center of the mob.
I was on a TA/A Defender in the mid teens on a team that had been screaming for a Healer for 10 minutes before starting. After they recruited me and found out I had no heals they almost kicked me but I convinced them to go along with it by saying that I got the Single Target Healing Arrow at 16, the AoE Healing Arrow at 20 and the Rez Arrow at 24. There were snickers but the team leader BELIEVED ME!
We ran mission after mission, some players dropped and others joined, we had 7-8 for hours. I'd just hit 24 and on the next mission the team leader died (our first death all day). He asked about that Rez arrow and I LOL'd so hard that I almost fell out of my chair.
Our success was not all or even mostly due to my play I'm sure but that was my best Defender Moment yet.

Doing valentines mishes. namely The Thorns one. large team. constant wiping due to having 90% offensive toons. Morale dying. Me frustrated. drop fire controller and grab Trick Arrow defender.
Proceed to pwn the living hell out of the mish.
