Some really cool pieces there. I thought I saw Graviton Girl running around Atlas the other night, but I didn't realize that was you.

What happened with your hands and arms?

In January I crushed my hands in my brother's log splitter. The initial injuries looked a lot worse than they felt, but I ended up developing Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. I've only now been approved by ACC (which covers all accidents in New Zealand) to begin physical rehabilitation. The condition makes writing, typing and many manual tasks difficult, if not outright painful. Turning the pages in a book for example isn't pleasant at all.

Man. My prayers (such as they are) for a speedy and full recovery, Comrade.

On the art side: the CP photo-manips are among some of the best I've seen in a while! When I first started learning PShop, back when dinosaurs roamed during version 3, I was working for an indy comic company in San Antonio. One of my first assignments was photo-manip... I know how tricky it is to get it to look right. The only thing harder would have been to monochrome it, since you can't use color to distract from inconsistencies.

Chilly did a great job. Your girls look wonderful!

I had training today with Dragon Naturally Speaking and a Tracked Wheelball Mouse (Remember the old Arcade Game Ball!) which was taxing to say the least.

On the upside thanks for the comments.

Max (Chilly) was a great find on HeroMorph.com and he'll be doing all of my Heroines. Photomanipulations are damned tricky - I work with Photoshop and find it tricky to work with layers still

wow, that one's slick!

I've always been kinda on the fence with photo manips, but I think I'm gonna add CP to my long list of artist I hope to commission. t'd be cool if he could manip some of the likenesses to my characters, might be wishful thinkin, but could happen

And to round it off:

Graviton Girl by ChillyPlasma

I see the words "Chilly" and "Girl" in the same sentence I expect to see nipples in the picture. I see NO nipples in that picture.

::sigh::

It IS still an awesome picture none the less though. Yay for you!!
