Sorry I had to drop in the middle of Hessy goodness. Whole house got sick on me forcing me to suddenly log to attend to puking, crying, and other messiness. Hope you finished it up nicely with out my pretty glowey Shield.

so little has gone on for so long!
NEVER did I expect this thing to continue for such a length of time!
However...
With the lack of the RARE at the end anymore...
I've definitly noticed the drop in interest/attendance...
Last week was only one round and the week before also...
BUT before it sets into a glorious blazing finale...
I'd like to take the time to thank a LOT of those that made it possible!!
First, ODACER... He and Cheeky (even tho Cheeky only occasionally *chirped* in the background) made things SO much more fun and exciting on Vent(The Vent so graciously supplied by the awsome Phalkon-better known in Grapevine as Cloud Jumper!) He ran a week for me when my machine was down and he ran second teams when the rosters were full enough,( Of course my son did also on his toon Bad Habit Saint ) he made the idea of running competeing teams at the same time incredibly easy! He also managed to snag the wickedly awsome Rikti Blade for my Scrapper! Thank you Odie!
To all those folks that teamed with me when we'd really never teamed before on anything... X-Funk, Jimmy Amp, Lemur Lad, Alloric, Sappho( all forms), Many JLer's who'd never before think of teaming with a Grape! Then those that hardly missed a chance, like Xan and all the ALTs! All the Newbees that had never even done a Task Force before were sure to try the Hess TF first!
I know over the weeks there have been many many more, but for me to remember them... well c'mon!... I AM the OLDEST player on Pinnacle ya know? 
ANYways...
If I missed mentioning you it's not because you weren't a great player, it's because my memory's been fried long ago in the 70's sometime! But believe me when I say I APPRECIATE ALL those that I've teamed with and I've enjoyed your company immensely!
Tho I hope it's not the last run this week I do see it's popularity waning... So here's my "Cheers to you!" for all those that have!

Awesome week 18!!!
Two runs first round with Bad Habit Saint running 2nd team...
Odacer on Optical Illusion (on MY team of course! 
) Rocked! With Invis and Team TP we were able to ghost most missions and finished a personal best of 44:29!!!
BHS's team finished up much later just BARELY beating the 1 hour time limit by 13 seconds! He actually had us beaten the first 2 missions and it was neck and neck thru the 4 Radar stations!!!
All-in-all it was great fun!...
2nd round was a little tougher, we couldn't ghost as much and with 5 folks gathering xp we really didn't want to!
We were however able to finish just 3:39 OVER the 1 hour mark, but there were plenty of levels gained and a lot of nice salvage accumulated!...
One of these days we'll see those badges we're so furiously competing those time limits for....
ANYway...

"Speed" Hess...
I'll need 2 teams of four basically...
A couple damage and a couple support on each team of four, and that's just basically for the 4 radar missions...
As for the rest of the missions we'll need to have someone with invisibilty or grant invis, and recall or Team TP to ghost the 3 ghostable missions...
when just running with the "any AT" team build the quickest we'd managed was 42 minutes....
I wanna see that 30 minute barrier broke!
If yer interested let me know here what toons you have available and we'll set up the Thursday's 1st run for speed!!

OH yeah! Remember that the said powers have to be available on yer toons at lvl 30!! The exemplared lvl for the TF...
Well I used my 2nd build on my Rad/Rad to include Recall Friend, SS, Grant Invis and Invis. I haven't had a chance to get any enhancements on him yet, but the powers are there. Hopefully I will be back from work in time to try him out on this. 7PM Est right?

2nd round was a group of 7.. 5 of whom were getting xp, I'd forgotten Minney was set on Unyielding so there were many more purples and a good bunch of XP gained!

I told Pun we couldn't clear last room so she made a liar outta me! Pulled nearly 80% of all the mobs to the door where the team just wasted them... then held the AV in check while we blasted the rest away, even those dam Pop up AP turrets...
Then took out Burkholder and got outta there in 77 minutes!

Funk made Very quick work of the minimum defeats challenge...( Listen dude, if yer gonna play a Blueside toon... How about slotting it?? )
and near the end of the first mission Tappet (the sensitive Controller) decided to bail out because folks told her NOT to use confuse that is was uneeded... apparently this didn't suit her playstlye and she PM'd me that she'd only stop using if if I told her... I asked if there were other powers she could use like her Immob or holds they are ALWAYS useful... but she didn't like standing around, I replied " Yer a Controller! lol That's what they do!"... and she promptly left the team...
ANYway...
After FUNK Swept the min Defeats counter all by himself, the Seven man team went on to CRUSH yet another attempt by Burkholder to launch the Giant Robot in just over an Hour .. 64 minutes!!
There were plenty XP and Salvage gathered along with our 19 Merits!

hey for the record, my unslotted level 28 ma/regen was running assault the entire time and didnt have any end issues. Didn't know we were being graded on this.....i'll get you next week bod.
