Vorac, bro...nice job, just make one quick tweek and pull the Vorac Studios mention from the end credits. They (official dudes) mentioned that was a no-no early all. Somehow it falls under the heading of "commercial endorsement".

Well folks and folkettes, I finally got something finished enough to submit. I had a different concept entirely at first, but that just wasn't fleshing out and I think I was trying to do too much with it. Anyway, it really wasn't working at all so I scrapped it and went for something much simpler. I've been cramming over the past few days to get something in and ended up with something just over 2 minutes long. I probably would have gotten more done with it, but good ol' Murphy likes to stick his nose in my business at times like this. It may not even get uploaded in time, but meh.

But I digress. Here's my entry for the contest. Win or lose, I hope you all enjoy it . As usual, youtube kicked the vid quality in the junk (at least with respect to the text) so I'll have to get a copy up on a site that doesn't stomp on the quality so badly later, and possibly get it hosted somewheres too.

I'll have to look at all of the other entries later, because I'm well past tired.

Dear All,

I have just completed my film at 4:30AM EST on my third all-nighter. I was so busy with real life that I couldn't even post to all the good vibes and drama on this contest with the rest of you wonderful folks.

I was actually the winner of the 2nd Annual Paragon Film Contest Live Action category many moons ago and was DYING for them to have another new contest. But the years went by and then they had this - Machinima, something I've NEVER done before.

Thanks to all of your wonderful responses and technical information, via a lot of hard work, sleepless nights and lots of planning, I was able to upload my submission - The Fall.

I hope you enjoy it and I have to give special thanks to all of you who answered my noob questions and foraged GameTrailers to get the proper information regarding our rules and submissions.

If I get the chance later on, I will post a link - I had to submit to GT with an MP4 movie, but the DivX version looked hot! I REALLY hope GT's doesn't have issue with my submission, but we will find out.

Either way, I need to get some sleep and reaquaint myself to my wife and two kids. Good luck to you all.

I don't think I've heard anyone get past the compressing stage on the site this weekend. My guess is something's hung up on there side. The fact that the videos are 'compressing' on their side should mean you guys are perfectly save (since ya know, the files are on their servers).

What's scary is I'm starting to feel the same way...not 11 projects, but 1 or 2 more ideas are floating around...
