Ok, I like a good mystery so I'm trying to follow the clues in order and what not but I am completly stumped as to what this clue could be referring.
Hmmm, maybe charms is the key word. Something with charms perhaps?? I don't recall seeing anything in the lobby like that. I'll have to go back and look.

Some of the clues don't seem to be terribly accurate about what they're trying to point you toward. Most of them want you to look at books, but you're almost as likely to find a different book than the one you're looking for.
I'm 49L and I can't get any missions from Darrin Ward. I did all the Mcknight's and the Senator's missions, but Ward won't give me any.
[edit]Another thread suggests I might have out leveled Ward. I'm going to check the flashback system to see if I can do them there.

Villains talk to Ashley McKnight who's standing outside the Villains' Midnight Club Entrance. She's standing by a set of stairs outside of the University in Cap Au Diable. It's the west end of the building that's in the NE corner of the University plaza area. You need to be level 20+ to be able to do the "Midnight's Hand" arc.

I'm getting the same thing on my newly level 20 SoA. Ashley's listed as an Inactive contact, and when I talk to her she tells me to come back at 30. I did her Origin of Power arc around 15 or 16 or so.
Ashley's arc which makes you a member of the Midnighters and gives you access to the club is 30+.

I found both Mcknight's and Wade's arc in flashback. You may have to find Wade to make sure he is on your contact list. Mcknight's The Origin Of Power 20-24L (exemp to 20L) I did at 49L, so the 1st time you can do it at any level.
Wade's Midnite Draws Near 24-29 (exemp to 29L) was lots of fun 
. I highly recommend it. Some very unusual surprises. I came away thinking Alistair Mcknight was not as tough as Ashley. You get the Thief of Midnight badge when the mission is complete, even if you don't make it out.

Thanks! I'd read somewhere that it wouldn't make any sense if you were able to do Ashley's arc before Darrin Wade's (implying Ashley's arc *has* to be 30+), but a lot of confusion seems to exist about the Midnighter arcs, especially villainside. The guide here saying Ashley's arc is 20+ doesn't help with that. 
EDIT: Darrin Wade's arc can't be 25+ either... my level 21 SoA just started it.

It is 20-29.
Fuzun's guide was correct in Beta (he even corrected mistakes in my guide), this must be simply a typo.

Ok, but...my SoA is 21 and he says to come back at level 20. Is that supposed to be 30? I did the first bit where I get the 8 relics.

If you have the Thief of Midnight badge from doing Darrin's arc, that's all he has for you. He'll keep saying "come back when you're 20" but that's a bug.
So you can't just go look at the zone but have to go through all this first?
