Seeking Costume Assistance/Judgement

I've got four costumes created for my character, Modernus Templarius. He's an AR/Dev Blaster. The short of his background is a Crusader brought forward in time involving an amatuer group of heroes and Oroboros. Hes adapted (partly) to modern times, but still considers himself a Crusader in ways ( his code of conduct is like that of a Paladin from D&D )

The first and last I like the most, and the other two I'm looking for suggestions on while opinions are welcome on all of them. Thank you in advance for your time.

For the first one, I wanted a more modern idea of what a Templar might dress like. This is what I came up with and don't plan on even changing it. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/ModTemp1.jpg

This costume is a slightly altered version of what I had for my time with the PKs. I'm not sure how I feel on it, and might be the one I want to change the most. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/ModTemp3.jpg

This last one was inspired by Priest ( the manga series ) and he carries around the tommy gun from the Untouchable badge with it. As you can see it keeps the tradition of having his face covered. http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...s/ModTemp4.jpg

I like #2 and #3 the best...and #2 really captures the feel, IMHO.

I see, thank you for the input. I did consider using the boots from #3 on #2, and at some point I hope to have the Nemesis rifles to go with it, since I feel they might compliment it best.

3 and 4 are the ones I like best myself <@_@>. 1 and 2...

I dunno, they don't do anything for me. That is of course just my opinion <@,@>

Another vote for 3 as it seems to me, to capture the modern Knight feel better than the others.

Oh, AR is assault rifle?! I thought it was archery! well, that changes things loads doesnt it! So, yeh, I agree with Chisoku below me - if he's a templar he should wear something that evokes it, because it's a significant fact (and part of his name )

I actually have a sort of crusader character myself: Demon's Redemption.

Out of the ones you supplied, I think I'm leaning toward 1 or 4. 2 and 3 are nice costumes, but I think they'd look just plain silly with an assault rifle.

However, I think you should really fuse the modern dress with a touch of the traditional crusader spirit. Perhaps wearing a bit of chain armor below his coat? Maybe bearing the Templar cross? It could be anything. Regardless, I'll be back shortly with my personal suggestion for an outfit.

Welp, here's what I returned: Yep.

It's got a similar whitish uniform that your 1st costume had (It was originally blue), and of course has small bits of armor thrown in, including some pauldrons, a shirt of mail, and some greaves. Also included a small cross badge, and yes, his face is still covered.

I'm surprised to disagree with the majority, but I dislike all of them but #1. I think it is such an awesome looking costume I may steal it haha. If I come up with something for a suggestion I will post pictures!

So DBN, what are you looking for with suggestions for the middle 2 costumes? Costume 2 is Medieval Templar, Costume 3 is Futuristic Paladin (at least to me) - are you looking for variations that fit these themes?

Also, since your favorite is Costume 1, which I dub Templar Commando, I'm wondering if you see him primarily this way?

I welcome suggestions on all costumes, if only to tweak them to fit the all-together theme of a Crusader/Templar/Paladin. I hope that makes sense.
