as a note, most AVs and bosses don't resist Immobs so one shot will pin them.

Web Grenade is mag 3, it will not Immobilize any boss or AV with a single application. Bosses and AVs require mag 4.

As I understand Mag resistance

minion is -1, Lt is -2, Boss is -3, Elite Boss is -6,
AV is -51 to -101, Giant Monster is -76, Hamidon is -501

To Mag a target the mag resistance must be a positive number. Example:

LT mag resistance is -2, Web Grenade Immobilize is mage 3 (3-2=1)LT is Immobilized

Boss mag resistance is -3, Web Grenade Immobilize is mage 3 (3-3=0)Boss is NOT Immobilized
it would require a 2nd Web Grenade to stack with the first 3+3=6 (6-3=3)Boss is Immobilized

Fate is what you make.

I'm wondering about the Protbot Heal slottings.

A looong time ago, some bot/* guide stated that the ProtBot AI tells him to heal when it's most effective, and that slotting heal would only cause him to wait longer before healing the others. Thus, not slotting heal would be more effective.

Has that been changed or was it just a wrong statement?

I'm going to point out that seeker drones make a KILLER alpha-eater. They do a little to-hit which is nice, and may disorient, but yeah, they tend to get left behind if summoned, so just use their GIANT summon radius to drop them on enemy heads. Or around corners.

Also - something on the patron powers - were you talking about AOEs for the *blasts* or the *immobilizes* - because, and speaking strictly and objectively from the prespective of an evil robot mastermind... anything that gets an entire group to hang around IN the fire patches launched by the assult bot's incidineary missiles is DEFINITELY worth picking up. Especially if you go Mu, which has -kb.

Making guys stand in the burn patches is deadly. However, the patron immobs are only mag 3, so they don't affect bosses or higher. Minion/ Lts. tend to die too soon to make immob/burn worthwhile.

Level 50 Bot/FF Mastermind here...

I'm not aware of such a problem with the Protector Bots and heals...but I don't recommend slotting heals in them anyway. The Protector Bots spend 9/10ths of their time in play fighting so I slot for ACC, DAM, and END RED with SOs or the Sovereign Right Set if going for IOs. I'm very pleased with their performance.

I dunno, there's some fairly tough lieutenants out there - you can pretty much hit it too right after sending the bots in, yeah - you can do it without 'em, but why make it take longer? (especially if, you're, say, traps and have web grenade for the boss...) I stand by my suggestion.

MMs are LOADS of fun! I have a soldiers/poison that seems to do really well, both in PvP and against NPCs. My major drawback though is that the soldiers deal lethal damage. Thats not a huge concern for me though. My question is this:
Why can't I ever beat a SR scrapper? Idk what the problem is. Its really the one pvp character I can't beat. any tips? He's lvl 39 right now, so there is a little room for suggested powers.
-soldiers
-poison
-leadership (damage and tactics)
-flight (AS, fly, and group fly)
