When sending in a petition for these "spammers", which catagory do I put it under, and what do I type into it?
The last two I sent in were under harassment/conduct, and I wrote that it WAS spam (and the website in case the Dev's wanted it), but got emails back saying i didn't have enough info :/
It appears they've found a way to use the command line to send email, rather than the actual email system. :| Some players have confirmed that it is possible to do it this way before reaching level 10. Sadly.
When the spam is an e-mail, please remember to leave the e-mail in your inbox when you report it. I don't know this for sure, but the logs might not keep a record of all sent and received e-mail that's easily accessible. Every time I've reported a spam e-mail, I've left it in my inbox. The GM deletes it out for you when he or she gets to the petition, and the character that sent it goes away.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.

Okay my villain toon Dr. Z.C. Hymen wondered aloud to me if the Devs could just target the spammer's ISP and use massive doses of radiation to eliminate the spammer, his family, neighborhood...well he is a villain!

Definately good to know. I was also deleting them after I sent a petition. 
how about adding a 'report spammer' button to the email window?
it seems to me that the number of spam messages I've received that way recently has been increasing, sometimes daily on some of my characters, but there's no easy way to deal with it short of trying to recreate the "keyboard mash" name they've used in order to report them by /ignorespammer (which may or may not work, as I suspect that the character which sent me the spam email is long gone by the time I log in and get the message)
The GM's are able to read your email?
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Yeah, especially since you can't send stuff or influence through the mail. It is of limited usefulness.

I am now once again getting emails from the ga%$$.com website Sometimes 3 emails the next day i log on. They take my name because im not totally hidden and spam email. I also got an email from a level 1 the other day. They usually make very long grammatically incorrect names such as rteldjei so not hard to spot. Their deceptive tactics should be a clue not to even think of given them any personal information but I guess some folks have victim written all over them when they buy infx or god help them--power leveling for 300 dollars LOL @that
Meh. I just forward spam mail to other spammers.
If there is money to be had they'll do whatever it takes to get it, even lvling a toon to 10 so they can spam you.
