Kilotonnage vs Ben 10

My 4 year old son has been begging me to pick up my pencils again and draw his favorite cartoon characters. His favorite is Ben 10 and he wants me to draw all of Ben's alien forms. I can't refuse my little man so I will be updating this thread from time to time with my progress on this project.

First up is Heatblast

Well I'm sure most of the people on this forum watch cartoons, they help the creative juices flow.

Hehe I have to admit I watch this show too and I am a fan. I was thinking the same about Ben 10,000 when my son mentioned drawing all the forms. I know he wants more than the original 10 and he will probably want the new ones revealed in Ben 10: Alien Force when it comes out this spring!

He was a lot of fun to draw because of his odd shape. After I was done I realized that the sketch has a "Where the Wild Things Are" feel to it. I was just reading that to my son and I think it translated into my sketch.

I tried my hand at Greymatter this weekend.

I'm definately liking how these turn out, and I'm sort of embarrassed I didn't mention such earlier.

I was in the grocery store when I saw the Ben 10 doll, and I stopped short in the aisle and almost caused a 3 cart pile up... I was like, "Hey Kilo drew that!" My wife said, "What are you 8 years old?"... I said, "No! But I wants it..." and I haven't even seen this show!

My wife has told me that she thinks I want the Ben 10 action figures more than my son. I told her I do, for artistic purposes of course.

Ben 10 is a cartoon on the Cartoon Network. The short story is 10 year old Ben Tennyson, while on a summer vacation RVing with his Grandpa Max and cousin Gwen, finds an alien device called the Omnitrix. The Omnitrix looks like a fancy watch and it allows Ben to change into 10 (eventually more) different superpowered aliens for short periods of time. The whole series is basically the summer road trip and all the adventures Ben and company get into.

Ditto was in 2 episodes so far. He has Multiple Man type powers and can split himself into many duplicates.

Great work Kilo...my son loves Ben 10, I sure hope someone hooks you up and colors those. They would look awesome in color.
