PF, I would like to thank you for your conern. We at PERC do not normally encourage cross-posting, but with the uber prizes that we are giving away- we felt that everyone should deserve a fair shake at entering. Some people do not leave their home server (or rarely do) to post. The more exposure the better. Again, thank you for your concern.

Does this mean that I should forego adding my usual opening/closing credits to my vids? (I always add the Samuraiko Productions credits, as well as the NCsoft and Cryptic logos.)

I use these so that a) people know it's MINE, and b) NCSoft and Cryptic don't get huffy.

Well, I'm narrowing down the music I intend to use, but I've got ideas for the footage I want.

But you're not going to believe this - I've gotten in-game /tells saying that I shouldn't be allowed to enter this contest.

(Not to mention some people ragging on me that I'm automatically disqualified because my opening/closing credits put me over 45 seconds so I shouldn't bother entering.)

Has anyone else gotten this kind of petty behaviour, or is it just me?

My suggestion is to leave intro's and outtro's off of vid's.

After all this is a commerical, commericals don't have credits.

age requirement: the rating on the box is T so we are gonna stick to the T age requirements....

as far as overseas entries--- still working on that, might have an answer sometime tonite.

So....

What is up with woots video hosting? I've updated both IE, Firefox, Mediaplayer and all the plugins associated and it still screws up when I wanna watch entries. It either squishes them like a stone tanker sat on top of the TV or it just vanishes and refuses to be clicked by any mortal mouseclick.

My actors and friends have complained about this as well. Any info?

Unfortunatly Ashcraft, I have no problems running the entries on the w00t site. They are all very clear. So I don't think I would be able to help you out on this question.

Works for me as well, running Firefox.

If you have Firefox, and the black box appears, right click in the box and hit play!

For IE users, the play button shows, but Microsoft likes to keep all the toys and lets no one else use them!

Anyone else having issues uploading to Woot?

I can barely get the site to work and when I do get to the section where you upload it won't let me attach any files.

*edit:

Gave up tonight. Only way I could get the site to work was to wait until it had just started to load a page. Pound on "Stop" to get the site without any nice graphics then try and enter in any info before it stopped letting me.

Two hours of trying and I still couldn't load up a simple video.
