Name: The Paragon Universe (within is The Legion, S.T.O.R.M., Incognitus, The Forsaken and Independents)

Theme/Concept: The Paragon Universe isn't actually a Super Group at all but several. The Paragon Universe is made up of four small and separate groups, as well as a number of "solo" heroes. By uniting under one SG mechanic it allows us the privileges that large SG provide, and creates a Universe feel, with cross title team ups.
The Legion: A JSA/JLA style group with well established, big name heroes.
S.T.O.R.M.: A paramilitary group consisting of soldiers, scientists and power-armor units.
Incognitus: An arcane-based group struggling to defend the world from the forces of the supernatural - interdimensional entities and dark magic users.
The Forsaken: A group of darker, grittier heroes operating outside of acceptable law enforcement procedures in order to save the future.
Independents: Not a group at all, but our solo heroes.
Activity: The SG is still very young and the best times for activity is not quite clear. We're developing special group nights to help facilitate this.
Requirements for Membership: We ask that you have a character backstory. This is an RP Group. Each group has its own additional requirements and membership for each must be approved by group Leader.

Activity: One member so far, and that's me, the leader. I'm usually around from about 11:45 pm CST - 4:30 am CST on sunday - thursday and Friday's and Saturday's it just depends on when I wake up. I'm always around after rl work. As for 'Prime Time' So to speak, Friday's and Saturday's are the best to catch me around, or during the late hours of the night.
Requirements for Membership: None, Just have fun, tune into the cape, and play in SG mode when beating up villains.

RP Level: "[[Gather for plot point!]]" -- Gerard Le Mystere
Our primary focus is RP. There's usually several open storylines going on at any given time, and we have occasional RP nights where we further storylines playing through a story arc or TF adapted to our purposes.
SG chat is considered to be IC at all times, with any OOC comments marked as such (by "OOC:", brackets or what-have-you). Blending and meta-gaming is frowned upon, but we are not strict about the actual ratio of IC lines to OOC ones as we generally all like each other and have as much fun just playing and BS-ing OOC as we do roleplaying. We're by and large capable of doing both at the same time. During more RP-intensive events we generally ask that OOC be kept as much as possible in the group's global channel.
PvP Level: We make frequent use of the Arena for SG events, furthering RP storylines, and just plain goofing off. We do not currently engage in any organized zone PvP.
Theme/Concept: The League of Misfits is a loosely affiliated association of oddballs and outcasts who have come together in the Misfit Mansion almost as a family, some out of choice and others who simply have nowhere else to go. Conceptually we're all over the map -- capes, wizards, warriors, mutants, magical constructs, extraterrestrials, extradimensionals, extratemporals, reformed villains, ghosts, super squirrels, sentient vegetables -- even the French! -- whatever you want to play, if you can make it interesting we're happy to have you with us.
Activity: We currently have over 15 players in the group, and there's almost always someone on -- we have daytime and nighttime regulars, and most of us have alts of both factions and various level ranges. We're very SK/exemp friendly, being more concerned with having fun hanging out with each other than steamrolling stuff or powergaming (though get enough of us together and steamrolling often becomes inevitable).
Requirements for Membership: We have no level requirement for entry, but we do require applicants to team with two Master Misfits before being invited, to give us and you the opportunity to decide if our styles mesh. Activity on our GuildPortal forums is encouraged but not currently required.

Name: Paragon City Scientific Research Group
Currently Recruiting: Yes, as a newly formed group we are looking for a core of good people to help create the framework of the team.
RP Level: Medium RP. We request that members identify out of character speach in the SG chanel.
PvP Level: As of now none.
Theme/Concept: The PCSRG was founded under the idea that violence is only a temporary solution and to truly solve a problem you first have to figure out that problem. For example simply beating up a troll and putting him in the Zig takes care of the problem temporarily, cleaning the superadine from his system is even better, best yet what if we could make him immune to the effects of superadine?
Activity: The PCSRG is a recently formed group with 7 members who usually play on a daily basis.
Requirements for Membership: Currently there are no hard requirements for membership beyond a willingness to be active and involved in the group. From an RP perspective we aren't just looking for techies and scientists but Security personell, intelligence agents, magical practitioners, and anyone else who wants to lend a hand.

Name: P.C.A.T.P: Paragon City Advanced Tactical Protectors
Currently Recruiting: We have about 30 members: 10 inactive for vacations or seasonal work, 10 semi active, 10 active daily. We are looking for another 5-10 active daily members.
RP Level: We are classified as a moderate RP SG with a light RP requirement. We traditionally RP in the base or in the world a few times a day and are always running RP mission teams. About half our members are experienced RPers with a few years of CoH RP under their belts. Our RP is heavily influenced by our SG concept with side arcs running among the players and SG wide arcs running from weekly. Generally...
PvP Level: Aside from 3-4 man forays into Bloody Bay and Warburg for Shivans and Nukes, we only PvP with the SG when there is a RP reason for it. That isn't to say it's not fun though...
Theme/Concept: Many SG's have broad concepts that are meant to include everyone while providing no basic traits among its members to prompt in depth RP development. Other SG's try to build a central theme that is often seen as restrictive to its members. After a decent bit of thought (and blind luck) our core SG players came up with a concept that meets two of the main player types prevelant in the City: The Hero, and the Anti-Hero. Thus, the P.C.A.T.P was born. We exist as two groups of players joined by a common purpose. I will give the SG concept from those two perspectives.

The P.C.A.T.P exists as a branch of the Paragon PPD meant to facilitate the "Rehabilitation" of troubled heroes through guidance from the shining stars of JUSTICE in Paragon. Yes, by pairing the best of the best with the misguided, mislead, and downright troublesome heroes in the city they can be shown that the only choice they can make is the path of light!

Hey, it could be worse. At least here they try to give you a chance. But... they're all so dreadfully... cheery... But It's not the end of the line, oh no. Activity: We are a primarily a U.S. SG, but as many of our members are in school (and are slacking off on their grades) our prime time hours are from 8PM to 3AM CST. We have scattered activity by 2-3 members the rest of the day, but you can expect to see 3-5 people on every night consistently.
Requirements for Membership: We have no minimum level, no AT requirements, and no Veteran requirements. We DO have a minimum age requirement of 16, but we reserve the right to refuse membership to anyone, anytime, anywhere. Membership in our SG is a privilege, not a right. If you don't like to cooperate with others, or show consistent immaturity in chat (IC or OOC) you might want to consider another SG.

(IC) The Justice Guard is the re-emergance and reorganization of one of Paragon's earliest premier SuperGroups. Sole remaining original member, Liberty Guard, and his close associate, Cap'tain Amazing have breathed life anew into the organization after a solid defeating of Lord Recluse's latest attempt at world domination. It's purpose, to provide a direct secondary option in threat response should the Freedom Phalanx be unable to attend to a given crisis. With both being members, and having a direct connection with local law enforcement via a third founding member, ArchStrike, The Justice Guard serves to bulwark the defense of the innocent....in Paragon and the rest of the world.

Founded by three RL friends of long standing, TJG is a Medium RP centered, Bronze and Iron Age supergroup focused on characters and mutual character development, fun (paramount), and a feeling of family.
We're a revivified name within the records of Paragon's Elite SGs, but membership has grown at a fair pace and now with a medium but still growing membership we're settling down to not only focus on each other's enjoyment and experience both IC and OOCly, but on the development of our SG resources and activities. Our SG database and forums are accessible at The Justice Guard's website and we encourage any to come and say hello! We've a functional and expanding base with Medical, storage, Teleport and Invention capabilities that, while still in a transitional state, hopefully will become not only an expression of the SG, but the input of it's members. We're also aligned and coalitioned with some of the strongest, longest lasting, and plain old fun SG's on Virtue!
We're an inclusive group. Rper?....great. PvPer?...great. Just like to grind missions?....great. Our overriding goal is to supply a invested, interesting, involved and integral membership with the tools and opprotunities to not only enjoy and express their characters to the fullest, but to explore them, evolve them, and come away feeling like more than just a name on a roster. Name: The Paragon Youth Corps
Currently Recruiting: Always looking for new recruits and new coalitions.
RP Level: To be honest, I'm not terribly familiar with the RP level distinctions. But what we look for are people who are comfortable being in-character all the time. We don't mind OOC chatter nor the occasional OOC teaming spree, though.
PvP Level: The SG itself is low on PVP. A few members have interest in it, but it's not what we do as a group, outside of story-based fights.
Theme/Concept: Teen hero group. Of course, those three words can sum up about a million other SGs. One thing that I do think sets us apart ever so slightly is the group itself is very casual. Some members don't really fight crime much, others are big into being heroes.
Activity: I'm fully willing to admit we're in a decline as of late. Several members are scattered to the winds OOCly, but I'm driven to get the group up and running again. Generally speaking, we're active more in the Eastern time zone, at nights, and especially on weekends. I can't get much more specific than that.
Requirements for Membership: Be a teen character. The end. We have a message board (see below) for group activities, but there's no strict usage requirement outside of posting your character's info to the roster.

Born out of the dreams of two men the Next Gen tries to prevent the genetic wars of the future.
The Genesis Acedemy houses the all mutant school nicknamed Gen High to teach young students how to use their powers and generally live among normal humanity. It's purpose is to both educate and protect young mutants.
Under the extended basement of the Acedemy is the high tech command central of the NeXt team known as the Fortress. Mutant heroes and graduated students use it coordinate their fight to promote better relations with the populace and take out menaces to the piece on both sides
Finally the shadowy member of the Recon X unit come and go secretly to execute the final sanctions, operations with the specific target to prevent the events that could lead to the events of the Gen War future or the Xtraction factor. Even if it involves breaking the law to get it done.
Requirements for Membership: All members of the group are mutants. Applications can be posted on our page at www.guildportal.com. Members are not required to play a certain amount of time and inactive charakter will only be booted after and least 60 days and if the space is needed for new members.

Theme/Concept: The Empire of Virtue (also have some side guild parts on Pinnacle) is part of the The EmpireS, a Long standing guild across multiple MMOs (such as DAoC, LOTRo, AoC, etc). We have been in CoH/V since the beginning of the game.
Activity: Roughly 10-15 Unique people on during peak hours, with 20+ unique members, as well as the 100s of Empire members across other MMOs. Time zones vary with people on the East Coast, West Coast, and Europe. So we do usually have someone on.
Every Saturday at 7pm EST we run a TF/SF of some sort.
Requirements for Membership: Must be willing to bring all of your characters into the Guild. We recruit the person, not just a character. We look for good people, not just good players. They must be willing to follow the rules as layed out on the Website (G/Family rated chat, visit the website/forums, etc).

Activity: We have only just begun... less than two weeks old, but we currently have about 20 members playing. There is plenty of room for growth now that Issue 12 has come out, and plenty of opportunities for leadership.

Theme/Concept: You know those really super supers? Those really heroic heroes? Yeah, we're not them. We're the ones that don't fit for whatever reason. Chances are, if your character doesn't fit in elsewhere, you'll fit in with us.
Activity: The Starchasers is definitely an alt repository for a small core group of people who - while they may be active - aren't necessarily always on a Starchaser. We have an OOC global channel to stay in touch with each other across servers.
