Thanks for the comments Milk..........I will look at each of them closely and try to incoroporate. I typically read comics for my inspiration before I pose.......then I did about 20 stick figures.........those were the two I came up with...........though your right, it was hard to figure out how to burst from a wall. The top one I thought might be what exploding through looks like.


I really like pose 2.......... Should he be ripping through a Japanese Rice Paper Door (one possible background idea) which would seem like pose 2 might work for?

No reallly.......lol I am actually thinking about that.

Too many BAD BAD movies and pics were put up from Iraq so they started blocking Blogs, Images........etc.

I personally like Pose 2 better, though as others said, it might be a bit harder. Pose one looks a little les scary and the pose looks something like my female (relatively small) character would do, not a 300 lb giant beast with a skull and flames as a head. I mean I'm just being realisitic here but good job on both =)

Man I wish my toon really looked like that in the character creator! They are both pure awesomeness and you have GREATLY inspired me.

Pose 2 it will be ..........with flashes of LJs work...................... walks off....................goes to sharpen his case of pencils..............looks for beer.

Glad to be of service, alas I have one more final sketch to share with you, but that one I am keeping for myself, as I think it's good enough for the final color piece I eventually want to do. It takes a little liberty with your costume, but oh well it's free art and you can't stop me!

Hopefully I'll have my pc by Monday, and then I will share my results. Enjoy your suds...

Okay, well not quite a tutu, but the concept is a glowing chest skull, with billowing burnt cape rising up behind him like bat wings...

Overall, really nice. You could stand to read Burne Hogarth's Dynamic Figure Drawing ( http://www.textbookx.com/product_det...iliate=froogle )
so that their angles are more dramatic, but overall, I think it's a really well penciled image (though I'm no artist--so I really can't comment on anatomy and such) But its got lot's of promise in it.

nice sketch, but the fact that there is perspective on the bricks flying off the wall, but not the wall itself irks me a tad.

the wall looks like it's flat... like he's breaking though paper.

looks great, only things i see:

wall is flat, needs depth

belt isn't quite centered, skull seems too far to our left

bricks flying away are all full brick shaped, but randomly sized. I'd have made them more jagged or they need to be all the same size, but that wouldn't look proper
