You could try a futuristic/modern version of the mythical god.
Nice hero, Spino! And Turbo that would be an interesting twist. Now the hard part coming up with the costume parts that will make that hero look great...
I suggest getting the Santa Gloves and Boots from the Holiday Event, either by collecting candy cane salvage or just running the Father Time mission twice. Just in case. They could be useful in Norse costumes so if you end up wanting to use them you won't be able to get them again until next year. Today is the last day of the event.

Slightly different approach. Nothing particularly revolutionary, except I used the metallic face under the theory that the character is a magically construct rather than a person.
I've never yet taken a hit from a bad guy skidding across the floor on his keister.

I had exactly the same dilema about three weeks ago. 
I have been wanting a Hammer-swingin' Norseman for awhile now but really wanted to be careful not to look like I was trying to be another Thor clone. It took awhile but I am pleased with the result.

I have just created another hero. Yes, my altitis is kicking in! Well my creativity for a costume design has recently shut down so I come to YOU for help!
I don't want him to look to much like Thor. Want something a bit different and original. But any costume would help me get the juices back flowing back into my creative mind.
