"That is correct, although you must be informed that the keys to the Storm palace have been moved following the most recent battle with Lanuru before the Shard was closed." "Most of them are still within the Storm Palace, on one Island or another, but the Key of Madness is here in the Chantry, It is currently located within the Maze of the Needle of Harmony."

"Shaddup Bang! We go where we are needed," Kaega shouted anoiedly. "What about you?' Kaega mentally asked his sword, Arget.
"I Just want to bathe in the blood of these so called gods," The sword answered in that emotionless way it had.
"I just want them out of my home. Doesn't matter which one we start with," Dax said. The destructive power of Rularuu was causing his crystal fields to decay. If they did not hurry Dax's entire field would be gone.

Bang gleefully shouted as he executed a quick cartwheel, his hands never touched the ground instead they were burried elbow deep in his jester's cap. As his feet touched the ground he gave a grunt as he pulled a small toy convertable from the hat.
He hopped into the car, his knees sticking out at odd angles. He honked the horn loudly as he broke the soundbarrier, "Oy! outa the way, STUDENT DRIVER!"
Dax snorted loudly, "You forgot to buckle up. Kaega, why did you bring that guy along?"

Energon X shrugged indifferently. "Wherever they are, it's gonna be interesting to see how many I can blow to wisps of greasy smo..." he started to say, before being interrupted by a heavy thud from the other side of one of the mini-mountain promontories sticking out of the floating Shardstone the small band of would-be world saviours now stood on.
The Blaster groaned. "It's him. Don't ask me why, or how I know, but it's him." In confirmation, a decidedly unsteady-looking Overseer wobbled into view. Dangling upside down with one ankle clamped firmly in its 'jaws', a stunned Brute in each hand, and outrageous hat somehow clinging to his inverted head, Jager Horowitz called a cheerful greeting to the group. "Hoy! Hyu know, I don't tink dis iz de vay to Castle Vulfenbach after all... de hexperiment seemz to have been a failure." He gave an upside-down shrug and bashed the Brutes together a few more times, then with a twist and mighty downward (upward?) smash, splatted the Overseer between the two of them. All three vanished with a twist of Shard energies, and the Jager dropped on his head in front of them.
"Ow. Vell, at least they have goot fights in dis veird place. Do any of hyu know de vay out? Or at least to more of dese fonny leetle things vit de jaws on deir eyelids so I can sqvish them? I'ze hoping to make de bog pie out of dem, but they keep disappearing..." His enthusiastic voice trailed off as he became aware of Energon X' incandescent glare trained unwaveringly on him.
Finally, he burst out defensively, "Vat!? De polize found de pieces, und hyu got hyur eyebrows back, und I got dot Nun some new clothez, und I deed pay for de valls... and de ceiling... and de odder building... und de statue..." He trailed off, muttering, as the Blaster continued to stare unblinkingly.
Finally, Energon X shook his head and mumbled "I suppose one idiot more doesn't make much difference..." The Jager gave a large, extremely toothy grin, and fell in alongside the group.

Kaega chuckled a little as Acanous used his jetpack to travel upwards, "Real men don't need jetpacks, we just need our hands and willpower." Kaega jumped a good thirty towards Tyrant's rock.
Dax shrugged as Kaega said his little man schtick, "Yeah well crystal men don't really need anything besides minerals." Dax dissipated and began to flow like a brilliant green river over the empty space.
Bang laughed as the air gave a loud pop. He appeared on a surf board, riding the Dax river. "Oy! Daxypoo! Gimme a wave or somethin mate," Bang said as he squared his feet and began riding toward the rock.

Energon X shimmered into view briefly, well ahead of Arcanous and flying under his own power. "Sorry, did you say something?" When Arcanous just looked at him blankly, the Blaster shrugged and re-cloaked, soaring ahead of the group with considerable speed.
Back on the shardstone, Jager Horowitz spit on his hands and then ripped loose a couple of good-sized boulders. He shouldered one and gave the other one a solid overhand toss, 'landing' it a good forty yards away as it ran out of momentum and just... hovered. He leapt to it, then tossed the other one forwards a bit. Stepping across, he picked up the other and swung it around in front, using the two floating rocks as stepping-stones across nothing.
"Bah... dis iz borink." he complained as he made his much-slower way towards Tyrant's Rock. "I vish ve had a few more uff dose fonny leetle flyink bog things, or de schtupid rock-pipple dot shoots de stoff from deir shiny-rock-for-a-face."
"You're a fine one to be calling someone else stupid, Jagerkin." Energon X' voice came over the commlinks. "But don't worry your bloodthirsty empty little head over it... there's going to be lots where we're going."
"Goot." snapped Horowitz. "Bot iffen hyu kip callink me schtupid, hy'm gun tie hyu up in dot fancy cape uff yours and use hyu for de pinata, see vot kind uff schtuff pops out vhen I break hyu." "You're welcome to try, Jagerkin, but be warned... I tend to explode when I get excited."

Acanous stared at the blaster, waiting for his pack to cool down, trying to shake the sudden urge to scream 'There is no R in my name!!!'
force of habit he consolled himself, thinking back on the systemic anomoly that had every hero and villain he'd ever encountered, on any plane, adding an R to his name ever since that first, botched gate attempt he had made when he was 18.
The Jaeger though, that guy seriously creeped him out. Was that a Bug in his teeth? and man those teeth were pointy.
I'd hate to be around when that guy gets hungry
Energon, though, and Bladewing, he'd heard of before. While he diddn't know that X could cloak, (Filing that tidbit away for later) he had heard of some of the blaster's exploits, most notably 'sploding a dimension.
That sort of thing just doesn't slip by a planeswalker, especially one trained by paranoid xenophobes.
Now, Bang on the other hand, that guy was just scary. Even with Acanous' extrasences, he couldn't tell what the heck was going on there.
Although the name DID have the rave mix for "New Cillic BANG" running through his head.
A chirping sound alerted Acanous to his jetpack being ready for use again. Activating it, he made the second jump towards Ruladek's ex-prison on Tyrant's Rock.

Bladewing atcivated his various spells as he flew, mostly his long range scan spells, as well as a few to bolster his allies, granting them enhanced speed and movement capability.
"Guys, my long range spells are detecting massive energy build-ups like I felt when the shard was cut off, we need to hurry!"
Pouring on the speed, Bladewing cracked the sound barrier, rocketing straight for the now glowing spire that was Tyrant's Rock, and the waiting Ruladak with his hordes of Rularuu.

The source of the energy build-up and the glow became abruptly apparent as, with a clap like worlds ending, the cloaked Energon X detonated on top of the spire. Hundreds of thousands... millions... tens of millions of soldiers of Rularuu vanished in a roaring avalanche of blue-white light, the shockwave scattering survivors like a stick of dynamite in a dandelion patch.
The shockwave roared over the small cadre of heroes, nearly throwing Horowitz off his floating rock. "Hoy! Votch it, hyu schtupid..." he started to yell, then trailed off. Tyrant's Rock was partially gone, the place the Blaster had been standing melted away like wax under a flamethrower.
"Thought... we'd talked about... this." the Blaster's unsteady voice came across the commlinks. "The way is clear... go!" he managed to snap.
Horowitz was the first to recover. "Hyu heard de silly leetle boomer-man. VE HUNT!" he roared, abandoning his floating rocks to grab a Natterling, swing from it like a trapeze bar to bounce off a stunned Observer, leaping from Soldier to Soldier of Rularuu like a wolf lunging across rocks over a stream, pausing only occasionally to slash an importunate Rularuu in half with his claws.
