Well, I'm obviously biased when it comes to suggestions. 
On a more serious, note, though - there is an incomplete list of artists here who accept commissions here on the City of Artists DA page. You can find examples of every style imaginable on that list, and most folks' prices are pretty reasonable.
Is there a particular sort of art style you're looking for? I'd be happy to give you some recommendations.

XD Am in the process of getting screenshots right now. I actually haven't even decide which character to get anyway. I'm an altaholic, I have like 20-something characters after playing for only 2 months. The idea of getting one of my characters drawn just sounded cool and I wanted to check out the prospects. But once I get my screenies up in my photobucket, I'll put a link in my siggy. Those appear retroactively in old posts, right?
They should. And if all else fails, you can come post an update here so it'll definitely show up.

Yeah, I love the scoop... and dig the city of heroes DA page, but for some reason I thnk it'd be even cooler if we could go somewhere and find everything assorted by price/style or something.
You're going to give someone with free time ideas if you keep talkin' like that, Juggy.
I've been thinking about getting a commission, but I don't know where to start looking for an artist, and I don't know how much it would cost or even how much I'm willing to pay. Right now, I just want some suggestions of some good artists you guys know of, if you can give me links to some of their art to look at. If you have any idea of price range, please let me know that too.
